A lot happened in 2020, and a lot didn't. People self-isolated, learned how to teach their kids remotely or work remotely. It seemed scary, frustrating, and mundane, but 2021 came and hope was reborn — even if it was through online shopping. Etsy knows this. According to the online retailer's Year in Review blog, a lot of trends developed during this time that have helped us get through it will follow us into 2021.
In fact, the company tracked the trends that will hit in 2021 and shared some predictions it has for this year, all based on the items people sought out to buy for themselves or others. For example, sky blue is the color of 2021 and lots of items are of that color. It's bright and hopeful and we're about it. Also, we're still making strides in our home decor and sticking to comfy clothing. Check out the trends below with a few items to consider getting from Etsy in the new year.

It is still winter on the East Coast and the days of picnics seem so far away, but they'll be back soon enough, and it's not clear how safe it will be for everyone to hang out indoors again this spring. With outdoor items still trending, we love this waterproof picnic blanket.
