According to her Instagram bio, Eva Longoria is an "actress, producer, director, activist, philanthropist, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and stepmom."
(Phew*,* I got exhausted just typing all of that!)
But every now and then she likes to remind us that she's also human, and humans make mistakes — sometimes involving questionable tattoos.
Luckily it's 2016, and our poor ink decisions can be undone.

Thank GOD.
Last weekend, Longoria turned to social media to document an intense tattoo removal session.

She took her followers on a pain-filled journey as she lasered off the remainders of her star tattoo on her left wrist.

Longoria had only one session left.
"This is a tale for all young kids," she warned Snapchatters. "It hurts to get a tattoo, but it's ten times worse getting it off!"

Longoria certainly knows the ins and outs of tattoo removal. While married to now-ex husband Tony Parker, Longoria had their wedding date inked on her right wrist and the word "nine" tattooed on the back of her neck.

Following her divorce, Longoria immediately sought out a Dr. Tattoff ink-removal clinic and had those painful reminders permanently removed from her body.

"Nine" was a tribute to reference to the Spurs player's basketball jersey.
But now that her Tony Parker tats are officially gone, Longoria decided it's finally time to get rid of that pesky star on her wrist.

"I'm about to zap these suckers off!" Longoria announced as the treatment on her wrist began.

According to Longoria, removing a tattoo on the wrist by far "hurts the most."

She needed that stress ball.
"Oh my god. Why is there such delayed pain?" Longoria winced as quick pulses of intense light fired directly into her skin. "It comes in like a wave, a wave of pain."

After getting her wrist repeatedly "zapped" for what probably seemed like an eternity, the area was cooled with ice and then covered in soothing aloe gel.

Longoria's grueling session was finally over.

Deep breaths. Deep breaths.
The actress revealed that she was also in the process of removing a cross tattoo on her lower back, but she couldn't post the pantsless session on social media.
…which really doesn't make much of a difference, because the videos of Longoria's wrist tattoo removal alone are enough to convince us that temporary tattoos = the way to go.
