This baby oil hack for Fenty’s $60 Body Lava is actually a flawless dupe

Fenty Beauty just dropped its glittery Body Lava body luminizers ($59, Sephora) and had all us beauty fans with hearts in our eyes. Operation Glow All Summer 2018 immediately went into effect.

Still, some fans were a little thrown off by the price of the Fenty Beauty Body Lavas, as $59 per bottle is pretty steep. The Body Lavas are also the most expensive product the usually affordable brand has released to date.

Fenty Beauty fan Aleah, aka @leaahluv on Twitter, wants to join Rihanna at her summer 2018 glow party, but she also plans to maintain her budget — so she came up with the perfect Body Lava hack, and it looks FLAWLESS.

First, she started with a mini bottle of baby oil.

"Beauty on a budget," she wrote in her Twitter post. "We flourishing all summer sis."

Next, she pulled out a loose highlighter she already owned — Jackie Aina's La Peach highlighter.

The La Peach highlighter ($28, Artist Couture) has a neutral peach base with opalescent gold shimmering pearls, and it's honestly an excellent choice for a Body Lava dupe ingredient.

Quite frankly, La Peach is one of the most pigmented highlighters I've ever come across. The only thing with a more popping shimmer is Jackie Aina's other deeper rose gold highlighter, La Bronze ($28, Artist Couture).

The La Peach shade is perfect for duping the Who Needs Clothes Body Lava, while La Bronze might work better as a Brown Sugar dupe (with more of a rose gold touch).

Aleah poured just a TOUCH of the highlighter from her La Peach pot into the baby oil bottle.

A little of the La Peach and La Bronze highlighters truly goes a long way.

A simple shake of the bottle and you've got yourself a gold Body Lava dupe!

Yassssss!

Of course, how this Body Lava dupe spreads out across skin is what matters most. Peep how lovely it looks on Aleah's skin.

Issa glow, baby!
The coolest part about this DIY hack is that you can use the highlighters you already have! You don't have to use the La Peach loose highlighter by Jackie Aina, though it's a good choice.

There are pigments even cheaper than Jackie Aina's, after all. MAC Cosmetics has little pigments ($10, Bloomingdales) that come in eight different shades so you can get your perfect glow.

Creative beauty fanaticism strikes again! We're all invited to shine bright like diamonds this summer.
