If you were tuned into Twitter this weekend, chances are you noticed that James Charles was trending worldwide. And while most who clicked on the topic assumed it was more YouTuber beef, we were shocked to find that instead, it was his self-leaked nudes. That's right folks, after hackers threatened to reveal the photo themselves, Charles took the liberty of beating them to the punch, and nobody was prepared.
Ahead, be prepared to catch a glimpse of some cheeks. What a weekend it was.
James Charles has been known to show off his derrière.
Who could ever forget that iconic Coachella photo that had just about everyone talking? Those white chaps, which were the talk of the social media town for weeks, will probably go down as one of the most memorable festival moments of all time.
Well, this weekend, hackers found their way into James Charles' Twitter account.
The hackers posted a slew of inappropriate and offensive tweets, which fans and followers quickly recognized as being fake. And among those tweets were threats to leak Charles' nudes. The claims of having such photos left Twitter on the edge of its seat.
But leave it to Charles to beat them to it.
The YouTuber leaked his own nudes, showing off his rear end for the world to see. And he had a message. "I got my account back. Just [in] case I ever get hacked again, here’s the ONLY nude I’ve ever taken! Can’t threaten me with it now, get a life," he captioned the shocking photo.
The photo has ultimately been turned into a meme.
People everywhere have been photoshopping James Charles' hind parts with different messages. The one most seen is a strong message about the Amazon Forest and the recent horrific fires that have everyone around the world concerned. "James Charles’ nude was leaked and I don’t think I’ll be able to unsee this now eye," someone wrote on Twitter.
And of course, Charles is loving it.
"I love accidentally creating a meme, sorry Twitter," he said jokingly, apologizing to fans for making his nude the fixture of timelines all weekend long. Take a long scroll on Twitter, and we promise you'll see the nude.
Twitter isn't too excited, frankly.
While this isn't the first, and we're sure won't be the last time we catch a glimpse of Charles and his pleasantly plump rear end, we can certainly do without. "Y’all really turned James Charles’ a** into a meme; I hate this bird app," someone tweeted, clearly fed up with seeing the beauty boy's provocative pic.
Let's hope that this is the last time for a while.
"I really did not need to see James Charles's bare naked a** on my timeline," another disgruntled tweeter wrote.
And while we may not have been expecting the picture, we can appreciate him taking charge of a situation that for many is humiliating and completely unwarranted. Damn you, hackers.
