Prepare yourselves, everyone — after months of teasing, Jeffree Star has revealed his third, and largest ever, eye shadow palette for Jeffree Star Cosmetics.
Introducing the brand new, 18-shade Blood Sugar palette.

Star says this palette is inspired by vintage medical bags, and the shade names definitely show that.

Top row: Glucose, Sugarcane, Cake Mix, Ouch, Donor, Intravenous
Middle row: Candy Floss, Tongue Pop, Sweetener, Cavity, O Positive, Root Canal
Bottom row: Prick, Cherry Soda, Fresh Meat, Blood Sugar, Extraction, Coma
He opted not to swatch every single shade — but did provide plenty of juicy close-ups.

Why no swatches? Star says in the video that finger swatches don't really show these shadow as they're meant to be worn.
According to Star, this palette includes three different formulas: matte, metallic, and a new "hybrid" pressed pigment.

A little about these "pressed pigments" — in order to keep his red and pink shades vegan (which means JSC does not use carmine, a common red and pink ingredient derived from crushed beetles), Star's brand colored these shades with dyes. These dyes, as Star says in the video, are not technically eye-safe and *may* stain your lids — but he claims the super-bright pressed pigments have never irritated his eyes or done him damage.
Anyone with sensitive eyeballs, beware.
The palette retails for $52 and launches with the rest of the Love Sick collection on February 10 at 10 am PST.
As always it'll be exclusive to Jeffree Star Cosmetics and his official retailers.
Mark your calendars, makeup fiends.
