Welcome to 2019, where the epic Kat Von D/Jeffree Star friend breakup from two and half years ago is still leaving crumbs of its ruin all over the dang place.
To ring in the new year, Star and fellow BeauTuber James Charles got together to literally destroy all the makeup they despised in 2018 with flamethrowers and sledgehammers — because why not? Toward the end of their path of beauty fury, Star brought out a surprise for old time's sake, the last Kat Von D Beauty product in his possession, and really let it rip.
In case you missed it yesterday, James Charles and Jeffree Star kicked off 2019 with quite the collaboration video.

Together, they rounded up all the makeup they hated from last year, including Hot Topic's official Nickelodeon eye shadow palette ...

Some lip glosses from Victoria's Secret ...

Star and Charles burned these random VS lip glosses to protest the company's chief marketing officer's fat- and transphobic comments just before the annual fashion show aired.
The official Crayola crayon makeup collection that launched on ASOS last spring ...

A whole load of Huda Beauty products ...

Star had major beef with brand face and founder Huda Kattan this year after he claimed she stole her baking powder concept from indie brand Beauty Bakerie.
Fenty Beauty's Body Lava liquid body shimmer ...

It's sticky. 'Nuff said.
Oh, and the James Charles x Morphe Palette just for irony's sake, among other products.

Then, they busted out these flamethrowers by The Boring Company that Star just casually owns, because of course.

And, uh, well ... they torched everything.

That is, until they put away the flamethrowers and bust out the sledgehammers.

After they annihilated the Beautyblender foundation, a Sephora PRO palette, and some Chanel body glitter, Star brought out a surprise.

"It was my last piece of Kat Von D makeup in my beauty room ... it's time to move on, baby."

By the packaging alone, I can tell this is a Shady Bronzer by Kat Von D Beauty, which means this thing is practically a makeup dinosaur. This sucker came out at least 10 years ago. He's been holding onto that puppy for a long time.
"'Cause in 2019, we're vaccinating our kids."

Oh, yeah. He went there, as expected.
Watch Star and Charles decimate all that makeup below.
And prepare for things to get literally and metaphorically messy.
