Jeffree Star finally reviewed the KKW Beauty x Mario collection due out on April 5 (yes, he's STILL on the PR list) for his fans who wait on that Jeffree Star stamp of approval — and he's got some strong opinions on the brand!
Luckily for Kim Kardashian, much of Jeffree Star's review was very positive. He loved the majority of her products, even the ones he wouldn't necessarily use himself.
He even weighed in on the debate about KKW Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics palettes being dupes of each other.
"Baby, there are so many brands that have blues," he said in his review. "Of course, there may be a similarity when you compare a palette that has blue, but this is its own thing and this is very Kim K."
"When I saw this, I was like yeah those are literally the colors I always see her in," he said.
Not only does Jeffree Star think the KKW Beauty x Mario palette is totally different from Kylie Cosmetics – he also thinks KKW Beauty's first eye shadow palette blows Kylie's out of the water.
"A lot of people love to compare this to her sister's palettes but I gotta be honest," he said. "These shades felt a lot more creamy and they kinda blended out a lot better than some of the Kylie palettes. Like, no shade."
But is it truly no shade? Jeffree Star didn't let four seconds go by in this tutorial video before shading Kim K's little sister Kylie Jenner for kicking him off her Kylie Cosmetics PR list.
"Now I know you shady bitches thought that just like Kylie, Kim took me off the PR list. She can actually take criticism," he said with a wink during his video intro.
His mention of Kylie Jenner shows he likely still has a problem with her removing from her PR list because of what he felt like was harmless "criticism."
Nevertheless, Jeffree Star has spoken. And he says Kim's line leaves Kylie's in the dust.
KKW Beauty's eye shadow palette is Jeffree Star-approved, while Kylie Jenner is still on his shit list.
