Jeffree Star and MannyMUA continue to prove this week that messy friend breakups are probably better left in private.
It's been months and months and months since the two revealed to their fans that they were no longer friends — and sure, the waters were calm for a minute. But now, weeks after asking to be left alone regarding his former friendship, Star is stirring the pot once again.
Meet the makeup artist known as Mitchell MUA or mmmmitchell.
He was recently "discovered" by Jeffree Star via Instagram.
He even appeared in a video on Star's channel titled, "Starting Over... Should I Make New Friends?" very shortly after the BeauTuber Apocalypse of 2018.
Mitchell just announced and revealed a collaboration with indie makeup brand BPerfect Cosmetics.
Manny Gutierrez, who doesn't have a public relationship with Mitchell as far as anyone knows, left a supportive comment on the upcoming influencer's post — and it did not go well for him.
"This is amazing!" he wrote. "Congrats babe!!!!"
Enter Jeffree Star, who replied to Gutierrez directly.
"He doesn't need any fake friends but thanks for saying congrats sweetie!" he wrote.
Holy shit. THE DRAMA.
OK, but let's backtrack for a second. Remember a few weeks ago when Star said he was tired of people bringing up his old friendships to him?
AND I QUOTE: "It gets so old being asked every day about someone you genuinely don't give a fuck about .... Let me live and stop digging for 'tea.'"
"Had to give some clarity so we can move on."
For someone who's tired of being prodded about his ex-friends, he sure does like to bring them up.
But everyone deals with loss in different ways, I suppose.
