He did it again.
In what seems to be a random outburst, Jeffree Star indirectly told Huda Kattan, founder of blockbuster Instagram makeup brand Huda Beauty, to — and I'm using much more polite terms than he did here — buzz off.
There is a story behind the lashing, however. Buckle up, there's beef afoot.
Recently, upcoming beauty boy Cole Carrigan tweeted about receiving a PR mailer from Huda Beauty.

To which Jeffree Star replied, "Tell Huda Beauty to fuck off and use products from someone with a soul."

YOW. Them's fighting words.

In response, Carrigan said, "That package was going straight into a giveaway #sorrynotsorry."

And basically, Twitter's collective wigs got snatched.

Because how often do you see beauty bloggers literally telling one another to fuck off?

Pretty much never.

Though this seemed to some like a random lashing out at Kattan. Star's ardent followers have an idea why he'd say something like this.

Because he's had beef with Kattan for months now.

Earlier this year, indie brand Beauty Bakerie — an entire brand inspired by confections — released Flour, a pigmented setting powder line for all skin tones.
Not long after, Huda Beauty released its own setting powder with an extremely similar 1950s baking motif.
Star featured the powder in a video titled "Full Face of Brands That Hate Me," and said Kattan "literally stole the entire concept" of Beauty Bakerie's powder.
He hasn't interacted with Kattan or used her products publicly since then.
That's all that's known about their feud, if you can even call it that, though. So, uh, why so aggressive?

That's just how Jeffree Star rolls, I suppose.
