Fans of the 1980s film Who Framed Roger Rabbit are about to get one sassy blast from the past thanks to a new Ciaté London drop at Sephora!
Jessica Rabbit, the world's sassiest and sultriest cartoon character from the iconic film, has a mini makeup collection dedicated to her alluring glamour coming to the masses in just a few days. Ciaté London has been teasing this collection for weeks, and finally the brand revealed the full details about this Jessica Rabbit collection.
We haven't been this excited about a Ciaté London release since its Glitter Flip lipsticks in 2017!
Although there were rumblings about a Jessica Rabbit collection by Ciaté London back in 2017, the brand likely began leaving clues for unsuspecting fans around Valentine's Day of 2019.
The brand included Jessica Rabbit and Roger Rabbit in an Instagram collage of its real and fictional iconic couples.
"Vote for your favourite by commenting the relevant emoji below," Ciaté London shared in its caption.
Unsurprisingly, most votes went toward Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, and Jeffree Star and his boyfriend Nate Schwandt. No one chose Jessica Rabbit and Roger Rabbit, likely because the movie came out in the '80s and people have become more obsessed with Jessica Rabbit than the romance between her and her furry, hopping husband.
Ciaté London then posted a much more direct hint for the upcoming collection.
"Get excited, we're about to drop our most iconic collab yet! Question is who's that girl?" the brand teased in the caption.
The video only features a leg wearing a red pump and stepping out from behind curtains onto a stage. Clearly, the leg belonged to an "iconic" superstar, but fans just couldn't figure it out. They immediately began throwing out great guesses such as Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Christina Aguilera.
The brand's next clue showed a different visual with the silhouette of a woman, a microphone, and a bold red lipstick.
"Beautiful, sultry, and smart; she's a real-life fantasy… figured it out yet? Who's that girl?"
This time, a few fans caught on and instantly guessed Jessica Rabbit. This clue pushed more fans much closer to the reveal, especially for those who know Jessica Rabbit as the singing cartoon with the most seductive stage show in show business since Betty Boop.
By the last clue, it was pretty much obvious!
Fans began filling up the comments with heart-eye, rabbit, and red heart emojis. There were still a few people believing the collection teasers were for a Lady Gaga collaboration. Unfortunately, those hopefuls will have to wait for Haus Beauty to actually drop, or just shop the beauty products Lady Gaga uses.
Ciaté London is taking the people to Toontown, darlings!
The Jessica Rabbit tribute is entirely appropriate given that fans have re-created her look over and over again. Supermodel Heidi Klum's 2015 Halloween costume is hands-down the most hardcore replication of the cartoon that history has ever seen.
Ever the Halloween enthusiast, Klum was entirely committed! The former Project Runway creator and host enlisted the show's very first winner turned in-demand designer, Christian Siriano, to create her dress. Of course, that's not even close to where the costume began or ended.
Using prosthetics and fake skin to entirely transform, Heidi Klum's costume took 10 hours from start to finish.
Klum even shared her step-by-step process with her fans on Instagram.
She used Prosthetic Renaissance FX to literally get a second skin and take on the pronounced body features of Jessica Rabbit.
"The hardest part about getting ready was holding still," she told InStyle magazine. "Especially when you have to stand up. When you do the face you can sit, but when the body was being glued on, then I had to stand for so many hours."
Thankfully, fans now have official Jessica Rabbit makeup, so they can channel their favorite sexy cartoon over and over again.
Get into this three-piece Jessica Rabbit Collection!
"Our newest collection is inspired by Toontown's bombshell chanteuse sashay[ing] out from behind the curtain and into the spotlight with the Jessica Rabbit collection," Ciaté London confirmed on Instagram.
The collection includes the Jessica Palette, a powder Glow-To Highlighter, and a super-sparkly Glitter Storm lipstick. It's small, but includes everything you need to complete a Jessica Rabbit-inspired look.
Ciaté London also nailed this packaging.
The designs feature a really pretty and modernized Jessica Rabbit animation that's fun but not too juvenile for beauty lovers of any age. Small details also make this collection extra-cool fun, like the Jessica Rabbit impression in the Glow-To Highlighter.
The font on the packaging also looks kind of like a Jessica Rabbit autograph. Glitter lovers are especially going to love the sparkly packaging of the lipstick.
The brand also seems to have made the best eye shadow choices for the Jessica palette, which is undoubtedly the superstar of the collection.

The eye shadow selections were very wisely chosen. The brand made sure to incorporate different shades of purple within the palette, so fans can re-create various iterations of the actual Jessica Rabbit purple eye/red lip makeup combo. The glittery red Love Letter shadow is the perfect representation of her classic shimmery red dress. Other shadows in the palette have cute names such as Oh Roger, Carrot Cake, Love Letter, and Toon Kisses.
Based on the swatches, these shades look decently pigmented, although there are a few shadows in the palette that I'm not sure people with darker skin will have much use for. Because of that, I almost wish this collection also came with a stack of eye shadow singles (à la Melt Cosmetics), so Jessica Rabbit fans could pick and choose their own shades. Maybe next launch!
This collection looks pretty solid, and there are about to be A LOT of beauty lovers feeling extra sassy after it drops on March 4 at Sephora.

If you see more of us sashaying with a little extra attitude, please know we're not bad; our faces are just drawn that way.
Now that Jessica Rabbit is back to upgrade our makeup bags, March 4 can't get here any faster, and her doting husband, Roger Rabbit, would totally agree.
