A plus-size model schooled commenters who compared her body to her thin friend

It always seems like the moment a plus-size woman chooses to share a photo of herself in a bathing suit, in a tight dress, or totally naked, everyone in the comments suddenly has a PhD in how to spot "unhealthy" bodies.

While those comments are basically NEVER invited, they're also ever-present. And while many models and body-positive influencers can block out what they see on their own feeds, they can't stop the trolls on the accounts that re-share their photos.

When model La'Tecia Thomas had a photo of her and another model shared by Forever 21's Instagram page, trolls quickly tried to shame her body, but ultimately, she had the last laugh.

Forever 21 shared the below photo of Thomas and Fiona Barron.

We think both ladies look FLY AF.

The comments were utter trash, of course.

Instead of letting the commenters win, Thomas took to her Instagram Stories to clap back.

"I was just looking at comments on one of Forever 21's posts that they just recently put up with me and this other gorgeous model," she said in her Stories. "She's significantly smaller than me and she's significantly shorter than me, so of course I look like a fucking bitch next to her."

She described the comments as "hurtful."

"A lot of you guys that follow me are super supportive, but it's when I go to other pages and see the comments that other people leave on my photos, it's so hurtful and sometimes I do get down on myself," she said. "But then I'm like 'you're a shit fucking human being.'"

At the end of the day, they're not exactly coming at her with groundbreaking revelations.

"I would just love to throw my story into people's faces, just scream it at them that think they know something about me, or think they can educate me or tell me something I don't already know," she said.

She ended her clapback with the body-positive affirmation we all need in our lives.

"Always gonna have a big ol' booty and some big ass titties, and you know what else I'm always gonna have?" she demanded. "Sex appeal, 'cause you're not gonna break me, bitch!"

DAMN STRAIGHT.
