The YouTuber Who Got Famous For Botching Her Fake Freckles Just Tried It Again

The ability to laugh at ourselves is important, however, not everybody has it. Beauty YouTuber Naomi Jon, however, absolutely does. You may remember the name from her two previous henna freckle videos, one that was an absolute monstrosity and the other a huge success.

And after finding what worked for her, you'd think that the freckle videos would be over, but not so fast. In a third hilarious video, Jon tries her hand again at creating the faux beauty marks, and the result is even more jaw-dropping than before.

Who can forget Naomi Jon?

Remember when she went viral for that epic henna freckle fail that left her beet-red for days on end? Yep, her. Her first experience trying out the faux-freckle trend was anything but ideal, and though it was absolute hilarity for us, it was a nightmare for her that required a lot of exfoliation and a lot of staying in the house.

Then she tried it again, that time with much more positive results.

After reluctantly giving henna another try, the second round resulted in subtle and realistic-looking freckles that gave us all hope. And though it started off on a bumpy note, with an extremely dark initial appearance, once they were removed, none of us could believe the results, not even Jon.

Well, the freckle queen has struck a third time.

Clearly a freckle fanatic, Jon wasted no time giving us yet another video flexing her metaphoric freckle muscles. However, given her not always winning record, we all knew that her third time could be hit or miss. But to our surprise, this time the results were actually a mix of both.

This go-round she had a new 'do and a new attitude.

Donning brand-new blunt bangs with a muted purple and bleach blonde hue, she's back and better than ever, ready to try out some new forms of faux-freckle methods.

"Her hair is white again, I feel a new hair dye video coming," a dedicated subscriber commented.

She tried not one but two products.

First, she simply tried out an eyeliner that, like last time, appeared too dark on her skin. As Jon proceeded to apply it, it became all too clear that she may have another disaster on her hands. The color payoff was suspicious, seeing that as the last time Jon had a color go on that dark, it stayed that way.

But yet again she was successful.

The waterproof formula of the eyeliner paired with a quick swipe of the makeup wipe resulted in yet another success for Jon, quite surprising considering the way the how-to started off. Jon was pleasantly surprised but happy that yet again she had found another method of creating realistic-looking freckles.

The she got a bit more adventurous.

It's rare that a root touch-up spray goes anywhere but the hair, and we're not even sure if it's advised to go on your face, but clearly Jon is all about breaking rules. Plus, after a few other beauty YouTubers have tried it with resulting success, why wouldn't Jon be able to achieve it, too? However, what followed was something that she surely regrets.

Let's just say the hand test didn't go so well.

If the first spray was any indication, Jon's next try with fake freckles was going to end horribly. The spray was heavy, didn't distribute evenly, and left her with a large, deep-brown dot in the middle of her hand. And while we're no freckle experts, we're positive that this is how it isn't supposed to look; Jon's reaction agreed.

And when applied to the face, not much changed.

Though a tad lighter, a dot in similar form resulted from the first application to the face. And though it had us hunched over in laughter, we couldn't help but to wonder how the next sprays would go.

"No joke, i actually peed myself because i was laughing so hard when you sprayed your face with the hair color thing ksksksk," someone commented.

Jon's record ended in 2-2.

Eyeliner freckles, yes; hairspray freckles, no. Jon ended up looking more like someone who had just gone mudding than a beauty YouTuber attempting to master freckles. It looks like the third time's a charm, and the fourth is chaos.
