Periods can be a fickle, vindictive bitch. One month you're on time and lightly bleeding, the next you're a hormonal mess who can't stop crying at a detergent commercial.
For many women, one of the many problems that arise come period time is weight fluctuation. And while you can always slip on a pair of leggings to deal with the bloating portion, when your boobs dramatically increase in size, you're kinda stuck with some major spillage.
Enter "Ellace" by UK size bra retailer Curvy Kate.
The bra, which retails for €31 ($33.17), has a nifty lace trim on the cup that actually goes beyond aesthetic design and curves with the breasts when they get larger, usually around day 18 of your cycle.
"The bra design came about as we were finding that it was difficult to create a bra that worked for the majority of breast types," Curvy Kate's marketing executive Chantell Crabb told Revelist. There is such a wide variety of bodies and boobs out there and they all require something different in terms of shape, so that meant the obvious step was to make something that fitted to the body as opposed to your body fitting to it.
For some women, breasts can go up one or two sizes, and breast pain usually occurs for roughly 4-5 days.
The sexy design helps eliminate the spillage from growth and also provides extra support for tender breasts.
But even if you don't experience boob growth, the bra is also great for those who don't have symmetrical breasts.
This way, one boob doesn't experience spillage while the other rests comfortably and full covered.
