We all love new makeup — but we don't want to spend all our money getting that good stuff. A beauty-lover cannot live by fabulous lipstick alone!
Enter Tati Westbook, aka GlamLifeGuru. In her latest video, she counts down the best drugstore makeup she's tried lately — and absolutely everything is under $10.
City Shadow Shimmer eye shadow, $2.62 each
These eye shadows ($2.62 each, Amazon) impressed Tati with their pigmentation, finish, and shine. "These almost feel like a cream. Look at that," she said, showing off a finger swatch. "These are just so nice, I'm so impressed by these."
CYO When the Sun Don't Shine bronzing powder, $5
Tati is an accepted bronzer queen — so when she says this new CYO pressed powder ($5, Walgreens) is really awesome, we believe her. She's wearing the fair shade, and says that it's very matte and blendable and beautiful.
CYO matte eye shadow, $3.50
These single eye shadows from CYO ($3.50, Walgreens) are Tati's new go-to. "You just dip your brush in, and you don't even need a mirror — it just blends right in."
Ardell demi wispies fake lashes, $8.50
Westbrook stans hard for Ardell's fake lashes — and this multipack of demi wispies ($8.50, Amazon) "These are easy to pop right on," she says. "I use them a lot. I just love these."
Kiss cat eye kit, $10
This kit ($10, Walgreens) comes with top and bottom lashes, a brush, and pot of gel liner — but the liner is why Tati picked it up. "I really like Kiss liners," she says. "It's very rich and it doesn't crumble on me. This is such a nice, rich, black liner."
Monistat Complete Care Chafing Relief, $8
"Let's talk about Monistat ($8, Walgreens)," Tati says. "It's in the feminine care aisle, not the makeup section." Westbrook uses this instead of primer, saying that it has a nice silicone finish and makes foundation just slide right on. "It really has a nice, soft, blurring effect. It's something you have to see to believe."
Essence lash extension 18 hour mascara, $5
This mascara ($5, Ulta) is a relatively new Tati find — but her fans are already obsessed with it. "This is probably the #1 thing tweeted at me with the hashtag #TatiApproved," she says. A cheap mascara that delivers amazing results — what more could you want?
Tattoo Junkee metallic lip paint, $7
This lip paint, although available in MANY drugstores IRL, seems nearly impossible to get online — which is a shame, because as Tati points out, this shade (Spoiled) is really pretty. This comes with a topcoat powder "effect" and a base coat of color. "I love this more than 90% of my expensive liquid lips," she says. "You put this on, and it's just like YES PLEASE."
J Cat Beauty holographic lip cream, $7
"These are very iridescent, very special, very beautiful," says Tati of these glosses ($7, J Cat Beauty). "Over any of your matte lips, I think they're really really pretty."
Catrice liquid camouflage high coverage concealer, $6
"It's been a while since I've found a drugstore concealer I really love," says Tati — but this concealer ($6, Ulta) fits the bill for her. "It doesn't crinkle, doesn't wrinkle. I don't want to see something making my texture look weird. This is the closest [thing] to the Shape Tape I've found."
