Rewind back to summer 2017. The great Too Faced/Jeffree Star war had just come to a head. Tati Westbrook, in an entirely unrelated move, announces that she's no longer associating herself with Too Faced and will no longer use the brand's products on her channel.
Nearly six months later, that decision to ban Too Faced is still coming back up… over and over and over again.
In November, Westbrook made an "anti-haul" video in which she recalled a very negative experience at a Too Faced Party involving brand founder Jerrod Blandino.
"I actually like their brand. I think a lot of what they have is cute. But when I went to the peach party launch — this was about a year ago — I had a really poor experience one-on-one with Jerrod Blandino," she said.
"It was very embarrassing and very humiliating. He just treated me with disrespect."
Now, YouTuber John Kuckian is alleging — via an "eye witness" — that Westbrook approached Blandino at the 2016 event, and Blandino just didn't know who she was.
But Westbrook said that's an absolute lie — and she set the record straight with a big receipt pile.
"Your source (I'm guessing Jerrod's sister Lisa) gave you twisted facts," she tweeted directly to Kuckian.
Westbrook then provided this photo of herself and Blandino at a small, private dinner she attended at his home one year prior to the "incident."
She even pulled out her invitation to the dinner, which stated Blandino hand-selected his guests with scrutiny.
And though she has no hard feelings towards Kuckian, she'd rather not partake in a lie.
But now she says she's moving off the subject — probably for good.
Now, we'll probably never know for sure what happened at that Sweet Peach Collection launch party.
But hey, at least we know what DIDN'T happen.
