Twitter is trashing Victoria’s Secret for discriminating against some vaginas

Victoria's Secret is far from being a beacon of body positivity. By failing to cast models of different sizes and abilities and not offering plus sizes or a full range of sizes in its trademark bras and panties, the brand really fails to be as inclusive as it claims.

However, one Twitter user found something else about the brand to be enraged by, and Twitter is both applauding her and laugh-crying over her unfiltered honesty.

@Trillxlove pointed out that Victoria's Secret panties only work on, um, certain kinds of vaginas.

"You make panties for Meryl Streep pussy lips and some of us have Jay Z pussy lips," she wrote. "Until you fix that, fuck all the way off."

YAS, GIRL, YAS.

REPRESENTATION FOR ALL VAGINAS. YES. 100% YES.

Twitter came through with their own war stories.

What about representation for all booties, too?

Thirst Twitter obviously came out to play, too.

*cue eyeroll*

But most importantly, it's yet another thing about your body to feel ashamed about.

All vaginas are different and uniquely beautiful. They also all deserve underwear that fits and keeps 'em covered (unless you're a crotchless panties kinda gal, and in that case, more power to you).

While the tweet might seem silly, it actually shines a light on just how problematic Victoria's Secret is.

Victoria's Secret virtually excludes plus-size women, in addition to offering absolutely zero representation for women who don't fit into a very narrow definition of beauty. The company's sales have shown just how detrimental that lack of inclusivity is for the brand, with its numbers continuing to drop month by month.

Start getting your shit together, Victoria's Secret. It's about time.
