"She is just as impressive on a playdate with her daughter as she is at the Oscars. I love that she wears baseball hats. It is a reminder that even one of the most beautiful women in the world can have a bad hair day."
The Taste of Motherhood
Comfort and motherhood go hand and hand, and with time, Berry seems to have mellowed. As a result, her fashion tastes are more relaxed and fun. "Her wardrobe is full of basics," says Bey, who is also a make-up artist. "Mixing and matching a cute tank with a pair of worn jeans and flip-flops is the typical uniform of SoCal moms. Halle is no exception. Keeping it simple is best."

Berry has been in the business for three decades. But the former beauty queen will always be known for curve-hugging outfits and her sexy pixie haircut. "Even when she shows skin, she keeps it classy, sexy and age appropriate," Bey says. "The same goes for her beauty choices. Her signature short cut has been traded for longer tresses over the years, but she always returns to her pixie."
Minimalist Flair
Although the Cleveland native likes to take chances with her clothes, she keeps accessories to a minimum so that her look is concise. To this end, Berry rarely wears necklaces. That stunning Versace number she wore to the 2013 Oscars? It was accentuated with a simple pair of earrings and a ring on her left middle finger. "Halle has done a great job of refining her look over the years," Bey says.

Uplifting Shoes
Flip flops are fine for taking little ones to the park. But when it comes to making red carpet appearances, Berry wears heels, heels and more heels. "She has always had a very casual jeans and T-shirt style," Bey says. "On the red carpet she is still as sexy as she ever was. She shows that being a mom isn't the end of sex appeal."
