David González Lopez, 32, was gored to death while taking a selfie at a bull-running festival in Spain. While he stood in an unprotected area recording two fighting bulls, a third ran up and attacked him from behind. He was thrown up in the air several times by the bull, sustaining injuries to both the neck and thigh.

Oscar Otero
Playing with guns while drinking isn't safe at any age. Oscar Otero, 21, pointed a .45-caliber pistol for a selfie he later planned to post on Facebook. He accidentally pulled the trigger and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Polish Couple
On August 9, 2014 a Polish couple fell off the cliffs at Cabo da Roca in Portugal while trying to take a selfie. Their 5- and 6-year-old kids, who were not part of the photo, stayed safe well away from the edge, but witnessed the whole incident.
Anna Ursu
Romanian Anna Ursu, 18, wanted to take a photo of herself on top of a non-moving train with her leg in the air. While she didn't touch the live cables overhead, her leg entered an electrical field and the teen was electrocuted and burned. With more than 50 percent of her body covered in burns, she died later at the hospital.
Sylwia Rajchel
Sylwia Rajchel, a 23-year-old medical student on vacation in Spain, lost her balance while trying to take a selfie on the ledge of the famous "Puente de Triana" bridge. Medics were able to revive her after she went into cardiac arrest, but her condition was too serious and she died later at the hospital.
Isabella Fracchiolla
A school trip to Taranto, in southeastern Italy, ended in a tragic death for 16-year-old Isabella Fracchiolla. She was taking a photo on the edge of the cliff but lost her footing and fell 60 feet onto the rocks below. She died after undergoing major surgery.
