Assess your needs
Which items do you use most frequently? Place those in the lower shelves. Find a nice tray for loose change and other items you may find inside pockets. Place a plastic tray under the detergent and fabric softener bottles to catch any spills and keep the area clean. Find a nice waste basket for used fabric softener sheets and other things you might need to throw away.

The great thing about baskets and bins is that they come in all shapes and sizes. Nowadays, it’s easy to find them in colorful tones, so use them as accessories to add color to your laundry room. Add labels to easily find things.

Keep small things tidy with jars
Use jars for clothespins, powder detergent, detergent pods and stain remover pens. You can also have a jar for buttons, thread and sewing essentials.
