Here at Mom.com and CafeMom.com, we love celebrating moms doing amazing things, which is why we are so thrilled to recognize one of our very own former teammates and mom of three, Marisa Russell, on the success of her skincare brand, Meadow and Bark.
What we love about Russell’s brand — aside from our fond memories together, of course — is how she is a mom who knows how to advocate and choose the best ingredients and products for her family.
As she describes on her website, Russell explains that just because a skincare product claims to be “natural” does not mean it’s safe or best. Instead of just throwing around an “all-natural” label, Russell has focused on creating quality skincare with truly safe and toxin-free ingredients.
All of Meadow and Bark’s formulas are 100% naturally derived, globally sourced, and organically grown in Long Beach, New York. The company is also committed to giving back, with 1% of its proceeds donated to charities that support environmental, women’s rights, and cancer research initiatives.
Obviously, we’re fans — but we’re not the only ones, as Oprah herself just named Meadow and Bark’s hydrating facial mist one of Oprah Daily’s Best of 2025. Oprah Daily placed this super-fine hydrating mist #4 in their list of the top 9 facial mists to hydrate skin, naming it as the mist with the “best scent.”
