Taurus
April 20 – May 20
Those sweet smiles belie a more troubling truth: These kids are secret eaters. Taurus has a natural inclination towards taste, especially sweet or rich flavors, which leads them to sneak into the pantry or fridge and gorge on whatever yummy treat they can find. This food fixation can lead to cavities, crumbs and childhood obesity. Your best bet is to leave healthy snacks at eye-level for your child to munch throughout the day and always keep a spare toothbrush handy.

Gemini
May 21 – June 20
Not only are Gemini kids quick thinkers, they're quick movers, too. They're fascinated with what their bodies can do and will take any opportunity to sprint and run free like a wild stallion. This can be problematic when parents turn their backs, even for a second. This twin sign is likely to dart into the road or take off in a crowded place, making the idea of child-leashing a serious (although awkward) consideration for parents of Gemini kids.

Cancer
June 21 – July 22
Expect a frustrated phone call from the babysitter or daycare about your Cancer child. They're more emotional than most signs and tend to get easily angered, which, unfortunately, leads them to biting other children. It's a quick response for crab children and rarely do they truly want to do another child harm, but those teeth are as strong as pincers and will definitely leave a mark. Make sure to teach Cancer kiddos the art of communication and gentle touch, and repeat the lesson often.

Leo
July 23 – August 22
Roughhousing is taken to a new level with Leo kids. This boisterous, dominate sign loves to whack people with their mighty limbs and, even though they're often just kidding around, they may find themselves in frequent fights because of it. Like their lion sign, Leo is born to take charge and will need to learn how to harness their inner power in a way that isn't violent or harmful to others.

Virgo
August 23 – September 22
You can bet that if your Virgo child tells you "I didn't do it," they're lying. This overly anxious sign has a difficult time admitting when they've done something wrong and will often fib to avoid getting in trouble with their parents. Give Virgo children enough safe space to tell the truth without fear of repercussions and they will learn that honesty is always the best policy.

Libra
September 23 – October 22
When high-strung Libra doesn't get their way, they're known to show how they feel with a deep, woeful pouting session. Once this star sign has their mind made up, there's next to nothing that can pull them from their pout, not even getting what they initially wanted. Since this sign thinks of the world in terms of what is fair, it helps to communicate specific reasons why they can't have their way and stay consistent. Once Libra knows the rules, they're less likely to fuss about it.
