Dogs
Charming, social Gemini loves interaction, movement and frequent pet kisses. They are a natural fit for medium to small dogs who need to be active throughout the day. Dogs are playful and energetic which influences the sometimes moody twin sign. Plus, since Gemini thrives on being in charge, they're bound to teach their happy-go-lucky pups lots of tricks and commands.

Rats
While some people may be repulsed by rodents, rats actually make adorable house pets. They're easy to care for, social and love challenges. Cancer kids tend to keep their feelings and emotions private, but have a need to control the world around them. They make great rat handlers because they'll create a vivid, stimulating environment for their pet to live in and, as their bond grows, will get much needed practice sharing their feelings out loud.
