Aspiring Christian Influencers Arrested for Allegedly Abusing Their Toddler While on Drug Benders

From the looks of their social media accounts, Amber Sinkler and Joshua Sinkler, seemed to love their children. The Missouri couple smiled brightly and professed their love to each other and their kids often. Sadly, these parents might not be anything like the people they appeared to be online. Prosecutors say the couple sexually abused their 2-year-old daughter from birth and kept photo and video evidence of the abuse. Because of the nature of their crimes, police fear there may be more victims and are seeking the public’s help in finding them.

Amber Sinkler allegedly did nothing to help her child.

KSDK reported that the St. Charles County Police Department interviewed Amber Sinkler, 31, who allegedly told them she knew her husband abused their daughter but didn’t turn him in to police. She claims he would use cocaine and then molest their toddler, per the New York Post. Police found cocaine in the couple’s trailer home.

Amber Sinkler reportedly made several attempts at becoming a YouTube influencer, including a page where she posed as a Christian mom “chronicling her daughter’s pregnancy, hauls for her daughter, family outings and gaming content,” according to the Post.

The abuse reportedly took place between September 14, 2025, and March 10, 2026, and involved a 2-year-old child, per KSDK. According to court documents, police found a video that shows Joshua Sinkler, 36, sexually abusing his child “while she cries and holds a stuffed animal,” the Post reported Shockingly, Amber Sinkler reportedly did absolutely nothing to help her innocent daughter.

Sadly, there might be more victims.

Investigators believe Joshua Sinkler may have more victims. They’re currently focusing their investigation on two mobile home parks in St. Charles County, Missouri.

“This is a very open and involved investigation; it’s ongoing at this time,” Corporal Barry Bayles told KSDK. “We want to just basically impress upon the community that if they had possibly any contact with these individuals and have relevant information regarding maybe their contacts with juveniles or something that you heard in conversation, we do need your help.”

Bayles said he understands that the nature of the alleged crimes feels private and could cause embarrassment to victims and witnesses. He assured the public that the St. Charles County Cyber Crime Task Force handles every case with the utmost discretion.

“Our detectives specialize in being very judicious in these types of things,” he said. “There’s no harm even if they’re not sure if what they know is relevant to this, they are welcome (to contact police).”

There is no excuse for what these parents reportedly did to their child.

Joshua Sinkler and Amber Sinkler, who also have a 7-year-old son, both face multiple charges in the case. Prosecutors have charged Joshua Sinkler with child molestation, statutory rape, statutory sodomy, incest, sexual exploitation of a child, and possession of child pornography. His wife is charged with child endangerment and possession of child pornography charges.

This is the kind of case that truly breaks your heart and turns your stomach. The abuse described in court documents is some of the worst we’ve ever seen. Abusing your own child is horrific, but knowing your spouse is abusing them and doing nothing is truly abhorrent. If Amber Sinkler and Joshua Sinkler did what police say they did, they aren’t parents. These are monsters who deserve to stay in prison for the rest of their lives.
