If you’ve ever been to a bachelorette party or weekend bridal celebration, you know that they’re meant to be chock-full of nothing but silly times with your friends. They can range from a long night of bar hopping in pink tiaras to spending an afternoon getting pampered at the spa. Whatever route you choose for your special party, you can usually be sure that it’s going to full of fun and fairly stress-free. Unfortunately, that was not the case for a bride-to-be who was looking to celebrate her bachelorette weekend with her friends because the rental property they were staying at in Nashville was broken into by somebody in a mask.
A bride-to-be recounts how her bachelorette trip started out with a few strange things happening right off the bat.

A bride-to-be named Micaela Rodriguez went to TikTok to share a chilling account of what happened on her bachelorette weekend in Nashville when the place they rented was broken into.
Rodriguez starts her story by telling her followers how things were very “strange” on the day leading up to the break-in. She explained that one of her guests arrived earlier than the rest of the group, and she had trouble using the keypad to get into the house, so she ended up contacting the host for help.
As she waited for them to arrive, her guest couldn’t help but feel some “weird vibes” from nearby men who had a “direct view” of the Airbnb’s front door and were watching her.
When Rodriguez and the rest of her party arrived at the Airbnb, they noticed that the rooftop door was unlocked while they were setting things up for the bachelorette, which they found strange. They didn’t really think about it too much at the time because there was so much “excitement” in the air.
Little did they know that these could have been direct clues into how their night was going to play out.
One of the party goers came face-to-face with a masked intruder.

Rodriguez told WSMV that all but two people in her party were out enjoying their evening on Broadway in Nashville, when they received a frantic text message from one of her friends who had stayed back, saying that their short-term rental had been broken into.
Rodriguez shared in her TikTok video that her friend, who was the only person staying in the only bedroom on the first floor of the Airbnb, “heard shaking on her doorknob,” which she thought was some of the other partygoers trying to get into her room. When she opened her door, she was met with someone wearing a ski mask and gloves.
How utterly terrifying!
When met with the partygoer, the masked individual immediately ran out, and she was able to lock the front door and lock herself in the bathroom.
Police believe that at least two people broke into the short-term rental where the bachelorette attendees were staying.

Rodriguez described in her TikTok video that while this was taking place, a male bachelorette guest who was on the second floor at the time heard sounds of people in the Airbnb and someone flushing a toilet, but he just figured it was other members of the bachelorette group.
After receiving a text message from the group alerting him to what was going on, he heard the intruders move to the third floor, so he made his way downstairs, grabbed the other partygoer who had locked herself in the bathroom, and they left the house together.
Metro Nashville Police believe at least two intruders broke into the home that night, but nothing was taken, per WSMV. Rodriguez shared on TikTok that it was weird nothing was taken because there were designer bags, laptops, camera, TVs, and alcohol inside the rental, but “everything was exactly how [they] left it.”
That is very strange.
Rodriguez and her party guests were able to safely move to a hotel and get a refund for their Airbnb rental, per the news outlet. According to Metro Police, short-term rentals are a common target for thieves, so it’s best to keep a low profile and always keep doors and windows locked, per WSMV.
How unfortunate that such a special weekend turned into a terrifying ordeal for this bride-to-be and her friends.
