Brittany Mahomes Attends Chiefs Game 6 Days After Giving Birth & Fans Joke About Peri Bottle in Her Purse

There are plenty of things people don’t warn new moms about postpartum. Like the fact that bleeding continues for weeks after giving birth. But veteran mom Brittany Mahomes recently attended a Kansas City Chiefs game six days after giving birth – and fans joked about her carrying a peri bottle in her purse.

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes welcomed their third child, a daughter named Golden, on January 12, 2025. They also have a daughter, Sterling, who turns 4 next month, and a son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2. Less than a week after delivering baby Golden, Brittany cheered on her NFL quarterback husband at a Chiefs playoff game.

On January 18, Brittany Mahomes attended a Chiefs game six days after giving birth.

That day, the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Houston Texas in the NFL playoffs. The Chiefs emerged victorious 23-14 and will play in the AFC Championship Game on January 26. The true “MVP” of the game, however, was Brittany because she attended despite giving birth less than a week beforehand.

She posted photos from the playoffs game on Instagram.

After the Chiefs’ win, Brittany posted a carousel of photos to Instagram. The main image showed her wearing red pants and a cream-colored puffer jacket while posing and holding a red purse. “On to the next🔥,” the new mom of three captioned her update.

In the comments, Brittany's followers praised her for looking amazing so soon postpartum.

Folks on Instagram couldn’t believe Brittany was rooting for Patrick in person so soon after literally pushing a human being out of her body.

One person wrote, “GIRL!!!6 days postpartum and you are there cheering your Man!! Amazing Mama and wifey!! Congratulations on it all!! Love you Brittany!!”

Another Instagram follower declared, “So gorgeous!!😍 Doesn’t even look like you just gave birth!! Stunning like always!🔥,” while a different fan exclaimed, “You are the true MVP 👏.”

Someone else commented, “You are a rockstar!!! 🌟 Going to cheer on your husband, just after having your precious bundle of joy. And you look… 🔥, as always!!”

Meanwhile, yet another person marveled, “How are you this stunning after giving birth! I was still in diapers after my traumatic delivery 6 days out! 🔥🙌❤️.”

Many also joked about peri bottles, diapers, and other realities of childbirth.

At the same time, other Instagram users couldn’t help but wonder about the logistics of attending an NFL game right after delivering a baby.

“I know you have a peri bottle in that purse. Go tf off,” one person commented.

In response, someone else wrote, “If she’s smart she does lol.”

“All I could think about is ‘Does she have a diaper on rn,'” someone else replied.

Elsewhere, another Instagrammer speculated, “I just know she’s wearing a diaper under there.”

To that, a different person replied, “Probably true. Good call on the red pants. She looks great. I still look like a busted can of biscuits 14 years later 😂.”

Still, others issued an important PSA for new moms.

Although it’s great that women supported Brittany after welcoming baby No. 3, others issued an important reminder: It’s completely OK to rest and not “bounce back” immediately after giving birth.

“She looks fantastic and happy!! But all you mamas out there don’t compare where you were at that point,” one Instagram user shared. “Brittany is fortunate to have a lot of resources and whatever kind of support she needs pre and post partum, and likely some help with the other kiddos. Happy for her! But don’t be hard on yourselves. We all do our best with what we have! Xoxo.”

Another Instagram user wrote, “To all the new mamas out there, don’t think for one second you have to bounce back this quick. It’s okay to stay in the house and heal.”

Congrats, again, to Brittany and Patrick on the arrival of their baby girl!
