People travel for a number of reasons. They want to see how other people live, try new cuisine, go on adventures, escape the reality of their world. But no matter what type of traveler you are, most of us like to create memories on our trips. Some of us want an entertaining story to share with our loved ones when we return.
One couple took the memory-making to an extreme by trying to join the mile high club. And whether they wanted a naughty romp to share as a couple or a cool story to tell their friends, they got to experience the moment with millions of people on the internet.

Egged on by the passengers, a flight attendant exposed passengers in the middle of having sex.
On the flight from Luton, England, to Ibiza, Spain, on September 8, a flight attendant opened the bathroom door to reveal a couple in the middle of a sex act, according to The Independent. The whole thing was caught on camera. In the video, circulating on X, formerly known as Twitter, other passengers encourage the flight attendant to expose the couple.
He obliges, flinging the door open wide enough for everyone to see the scene inside. A man, with his pants around his ankles, stands behind a woman who’s also naked from the waist down. He smiles for a split second, recognizing that they’ve been caught, before he slams the door shut.

Officers escorted the couple off the plane.
The other passengers burst out laughing, as the flight attendant covers his mouth, clearly suffering from second-hand embarrassment. Once the couple emerged from the bathroom, in addition to the walk of shame back to their seats, they had to deal with law enforcement once they reached their destination.
Officers boarded the aircraft to escort them off the plane. A spokesperson for EasyJet said, “We can confirm that this flight from Luton to Ibiza on 8 September was met by police on arrival due to the behaviour of two passengers onboard.”
There's no word on what punishment the couple may have faced.
There are no UK laws that explicitly forbid engaging in sexual acts on a plane. But section 71 of the Sexual Offenses Act of 2004, states that it is an offense to "intentionally engage in sexual activities in a public lavatory.”
There’s been no word on what action, if any, was taken against the couple. While their faces aren’t completely identifiable in the video, we’re sure public shame on an international stage has to count for something.
People on social media had plenty to say about the video.
Naturally, people had a lot to say about this one. One X/Twitter user was concerned about hygiene.
“Dirty,” they wrote simply. “P— and s— particles everywhere in a confined space lol.”
Another didn’t want the footage to end, asking, “Where’s the video of them coming out?”
Another user suggested airlines help people achieve their dreams of joining the mile high club. “Airlines should seriously think about having a room for sky-high sex on the plane and collect hefty charges for that,” the commenter wrote. “Bet the tickets would be sold out always …”
