A mom's TikTok is going viral for highlighting a very real mom problem during the holidays. In the video, her husband realizes that her Christmas stocking is still empty, and much to his surprise, it's never been filled. Now a lot of women on social media are responding to the video because of how it close to home for them.

The video clip felt too real
Aubree wasn't prepared for the way people would react
The comments are flooded with women who see themselves as the Aubree in their own holiday celebrations.
"She laughs. But I knew inside it hurt," one person commented.
"All of us women felt that in our stomach. That hurt," another said.
"The moms create Christmas magic for everyone, including the dog, but are forgotten every single year," another comment read.
"It’s painful. We work so hard taking care of our family and we end up empty," someone else added.
Aubree swears that she wasn't upset and that Josh got the message
"There was a lot of unnecessary negativity directed at Josh," Aubree said of the comments on the video.
"I know it looks like I was sad sitting off to the side with no gifts surrounding me, but I wasn’t sad at all," she shared. "I was doing what most moms do, which is just enjoying my kids being happy on Christmas morning."
She also shared that the video was from Christmas 2021, and she only recently found it in her phone. She swore that the following Christmas her stocking was full.
