Millions of adventure seekers visit Disney theme parks each year. The the holidays can be a particularly popular time to travel, with many families taking advantage of the time off from work and school to go on a family vacation. But things don’t always go as planned. A visit to Disneyland on December 30, 2025, turned out to be a nightmare after an alleged fight broke out, leaving one dad with serious injuries. A fun day at “The Happiest Place on Earth” ended in a hospital visit and stitches for the dad, and police are still on the hunt for the alleged aggressor.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Matt Sutter told KTLA the fight occurred in the queue for the Indiana Jones Adventure ride.
“A group of people were waiting in line at Indiana Jones when another group cut through the line to catch up with other family members,” Sutter said.
A confrontation erupted with the man who cut the line, allegedly beating another man who was waiting with his family. The story appeared in the Reddit Disneyland sub.

“It lasted about 30 seconds and there were several people intervening to stop the guy. He managed to get some hits in even with people blocking. Then he stepped back a bit so others did too,” the original poster shared. “That’s when he jumped in for one last sucker punch, which drew blood, and then he ran off with his family following. Several people were able to point him out to security. I don’t know for certain if he was caught but I would assume so based on the crowd and how close security was already.”
The unidentified victim’s wife shared a photo of her husband’s injuries and explained her side of the story.
“Hey guys…soooo that was my husband was getting hit. He refused to hit back (which took a lot of discipline) because he didn’t want the rest of the family get kicked or us blacklisted. My teen got videos of the guy hitting my hubby,” she wrote in a comment on Reddit. “The security and CM took care of my kids while I left with my hubby as he got checked out and got a wicked scar with serious dad lore.”
OP commented back, letting the family know they had their back.
“Oh wow! We all saw he wasn’t fighting back! Impressive – good man. I’m sorry this happened. We were one of the several people offering tissues lol,” OP wrote. “Do you know what instigated this? And did they really not catch the guy already? We were all pointing him out to the staff. Really upsetting if so, but I’m sure they will track him down eventually. Glad you plan to press charges!”
Evidently, the aggressor left the park after the alleged attack, and police have not yet found him.
“There are two sides to every story, so we need to hear from him (and) what happened from his point of view,” Sutter said, per KTLA.
Police have not publicly identified a suspect, but the victims confirmed they plan to press charges if they find him.
All we can say is that dad is a true hero. He took a brutal hit to the face and didn’t fight back so that he wouldn’t ruin his family’s trip. We have a feeling that if police find the man who did it, he took his last look at the castle from inside the park’s gates.
