Viral Video Shows Girls Crying, Screaming for Help as Cops Walk Mom Out of Disneyland in Cuffs

The “Happiest Place on Earth” was not so happy for one mom and her two daughters on September 25. The unidentified woman allegedly tried to sneak the girls into Disneyland for free, against park policy. When park security approached her, things got dramatic, and it was all captured on video. TikTok user @diz.tok shared the footage, which quickly went viral.

KTLA reported that the mom refused to provide her identification, which led to her removal from the Disney California Adventure Park. Sadly, her girls appear in the video, crying and in disbelief. Their mom, clad in a pair of Mickey ears, was cuffed and taken out by security in her own personal parade.

It appears the mom tried to take advantage of Disney's ticket policy.

Park security approached the woman who allegedly tried to pass her daughters off as younger than 3, KTLA reported.

According to Disney’s ticket policy, “Children under the age of 3 don’t need a ticket to enter the theme parks, but they are still able to experience many attractions, shows and other forms of entertainment!”

The mother reportedly did not pay for tickets for the girls on the day of her arrest.

The girls apparently appeared older than 3.

Disneyland security requested the mother’s identification. She allegedly refused, which escalated the situation to the Anaheim Police Department. Officers arrived, and the mother reportedly continued to refuse, KTLA reported. She was taken into custody and given a citation for refusing to provide identification. Police told the news outlet that they suspected the mother had tried to pull the same scheme in the past.

The video quickly circulated on social media.

@ashleykeni did you hear about the mom that got kicked out of Disneyland? I can't believe it. it's supposed to be the happiest place on Earth. #singlemom #disneyland #whatdidshedo ♬ original sound - Single Mom Glow Up Bestie

The video racked up nearly 400,000 in one day. Many people felt sorry for the woman’s young daughters.

Plenty noticed the children’s cries for help in Spanish. “The little ‘ayúdame, ayuda’ broke my heart. I take my kids often and I would never ruin their trip for anything in the world. Or even put them through anything that made them feel this way,” one comment reads.

This person agreed, commenting, “The babies yelling help breaks my heart.”

But others had no mercy for the mother. As one person wrote, “so she should go somewhere and expect to get in for free bc ‘life is expensive’?? Nah, she can pay like everyone else. That’s called a thief.”

The video has inspired many creators to make their own TikToks to talk about what happened.

TikToker @ashleykeni admitted she’s not sure how she feels about the mom’s arrest and said she went down a “rabbit hole” for quite some time. “Are you sad about the mom that got kicked out of Disneyland or are you concerned?” she asked.

Someone else pointed out the mom’s irresponsibility. “Honestly, I would never put my children in that situation. Disney is very strick to help keep it the happiest place. I feel more comfortable and safe going to Disney then Knotts,” the person wrote.

Creator @nowthatsfun posted her opinion on TikTok and thinks the mom is 100% to blame. She agreed that police would not have made such a stink if the mom had cooperated. “I wish parents thought about their actions and what that’ll do to their kids,” she shared.

Someone who claims to have worked for Disney agreed, commenting,  “As a former CM, they do not create scenes for no reason!”

Many speculate the mom will face a ban from Disney Parks for life.

According to the parks’ policy, “We reserve the right to deny admission, prevent entry or require a person already admitted to leave the Disneyland Resort or any part thereof, without refund, liability or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances otherwise so require, in our sole and absolute discretion.”
