What to Know
A new year is upon us, and even though we’re just a week into January, plenty of new 2026 babies have arrived. And when one hospital attempted to share the happy news that the first baby of the year had been born, it spiraled into a truly wild situation that nobody could have seen coming.
It seems that the baby’s father actually left his wife to have this baby with his new girlfriend… who was reportedly also his employee. Buckle up, because this is about to be quite a ride.
It all started with a Facebook post.
On January 1, United Regional Health Care System in Wichita Falls, Texas shared a photo of the first baby born at the hospital, posing with his parents.
“Please join us in welcoming United Regional’s first baby of the new year, Bronson Havens,” said the post. “Bronson was born on January 1, at 5:48 a.m., to parents Brittany Douglas and Robb Havens. Help us congratulate them and wish them a wonderful year!”
At face value, this seems like a very innocent, wholesome family photo. But people who know this couple in real life wasted no time taking to the comments to let the general public know exactly what they’ve (allegedly) been up to.
The comments quickly got out of hand.

Due to all of the drama, the hospital shut down comments on the post, but they’ve been immortalized on TikTok by one woman who’s unpacking it all for those who might have missed the excitement.
One person who appears to know Brittany and Robb personally wrote, “Do not congratulate this ‘family’ while they play house, ignoring their mistakes. This man has chosen this woman over his family. Leaving his marriage and children for this woman and choosing to broadcast it. I have never been so disappointed in this community. You would be smart to remove this post and cancel any other praise for these people.”
Another commenter chimed in with their own intel, saying that Robb had been married for over 25 years to someone else, and they had two children together. Oh, and was Brittany’s boss… no big deal or anything.
One commenter also claimed that Brittany was engaged to another man when she became pregnant and originally told him it was his child instead. Yikes!
Now, online sleuths are trying to get to the bottom of this.

The OP on TikTok who is hashing all of this out made a deep dive into this couple online, and discovered that they do, in fact, work together, and Robb is Brittany’s boss — and the backstory about their previous relationships seems to all check out.
So far, Brittany and Robb have yet to respond to the backlash, but if they do, boy is it ever going to be juicy.
