More than three weeks after she was last seen alive, police have arrested the husband of a missing pregnant woman in Hawaii. Mischa Johnson, 19, vanished from the Schofield Army Barracks in Oahu on July 31. She was reported missing to military police the next day, and the search began for the woman, who was six months pregnant at the time of her disappearance.
Family and friends have started groups on social media pleading for anyone with information to come forward and help find the mom-to-be. According to a news release from the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division, her husband, Private First Class Dewayne Arthur Johnson II, is in military police custody in Hawaii.

Mischa Johnson apparently disappeared.
According to a Facebook post by Crimestoppers Honolulu, Mischa Johnson was last seen at her home in the barracks on July 31. The release stated the pregnant woman “may be emotionally distraught” and her family and friends were concerned for her safety and well-being. Her mother, Frances Tapiz-Andrian, shared the post with the message, “Please Help My Family find her.”
The Army Criminal Investigation Division has offered a reward.
The 25th Infantry Division posted on Facebook that it was offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with information regarding Mischa Johnson’s disappearance.
“U.S. Army Hawaii continues to investigate the missing person report involving a spouse of a Service Member. We treat these reports with the utmost care and attention and request the public's assistance,” the post reads.
Dewayne Johnson has reportedly stopped cooperating with police.
According to the 25th Infantry Division, Dewayne Johnson was taken into custody in Hawaii. Tapiz-Andrian said her son-in-law is no longer cooperating with the investigation, and she begged for help in a Facebook post.
“I am asking the Public to please assist me with any information on Dewayne Johnson. He No LONGER is Cooperating with the Searching or Locating of my daughter Mischa Johnson and their unborn child. Please Call CID at 8082080059,” she wrote in her post.
Dewayne Johnson enlisted in the Army in 2022.
Per a statement from the 25th Infantry Division, he enlisted in the Army and attended training at Fort Moore, Georgia, in November 2022. “He was assigned to 25th Infantry Division in June of 2023 and serves as a Cavalry Scout (MOS 19D),” the statement reads.

The investigation continues.
It is unclear whether Dewayne Johnson has obtained a lawyer or what charges he potentially faces. Military police continue their efforts to find his pregnant wife.
“Our efforts remain focused on locating Mischa, support to her family, and the safety and security of all personnel at US Army Hawaii installations. This is a current and ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time. We encourage anyone who may have information regarding Mischa Johnson to contact CID.
