Nothing humbles an ICE agent quote like being apprehended by the police for a crime they believe they didn’t commit. A TikTok user shared what appears to be bodycam footage of an alleged ICE agent being detained (sound familiar?) during a traffic stop for what is believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol. In the video, the man who says he is a “federal” agent expresses concern about being separated from his sons, who are in the car with him. Again I say, sound familiar? Insert double eye emoji here, thank you very much.
The man, whose name is not released in the video, tells the police he works for the Department of Homeland Security and then asks, “Are you guys really trying to f— me right now?” He also questions the ethnicity of one of the officers despite being in literally no position to do so. But ICE is gonna ICE, even when they are being arrested for a crime themselves. And, as evidenced in this video, claiming to be official “law enforcement” does not equal an inner get out of jail free card. Honestly, the whole situation is like a sick Uno reverse card on the ICE agent in the video.
At one point, the ICE agent asks about an officer’s ethnicity.

During the video, the man all but begs the officers to let him go because of his messy divorce with his wife and the fact that she is, according to him, trying to take his kids away from him. There is really just a ton of irony to go around, when you factor in the thousands of families separated by ICE agents during mass raids across the United States.
When the man asks if one of the officers in the video is Haitian, his true colors come out for a minute. The officers tell him it doesn’t matter what their ethnicity is, to which the man replies that it does. In the end, he is arrested and handcuffed, but he has plenty to say about being pulled over and arrested after seemingly failing a field sobriety test.
“Guys, what the f— are we doing right now?” he asks the officers. The video ends with the officer telling the ICE agent that he’s just doing his job. It’s not unlike a comment an ICE agent might make to someone they take into custody or someone they encounter on the street.
After admitting to his divorce and targeting an officer’s race while being arrested, the guy was roasted big-time in the comments under the TikTok video. Would we expect anything less? He honestly had it coming by, you know, not shutting the heck up.
“The fact that mid-DUI arrest he still thought it was appropriate to ask the COP about his ethnicity?” someone commented under the video.
Another user pointed out the comparison between the man’s arrest and what ICE agents have been filmed doing to undocumented citizens and even documented American citizens. “Where was his mercy when he separated children from their parents?” the commenter wrote.
In the same vein, someone else chimed in with, “Imagine all the undocumented people he has arrested and begged for freedom! How does it feel now?”
