Influencer’s 3-Year-Old Son Dies 6 Days After Drowning in Family’s Backyard Pool

A 3-year-old boy died days after a drowning incident in Arizona. Emergency responders rushed to the home of social media influencer Emilie Kiser on May 12, 2025, and rushed her son, Trigg, to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Sadly, after six days in critical condition, Trigg died. Family, friends, and followers have flooded Kiser’s social media accounts with tributes to the young boy.

According to KPNX, Chandler police and the Chandler Fire Department responded to a home in the 5000 block of Ashley Drive near the intersection of Chandler Heights and Gilbert roads. Police arrived first and began CPR. Firefighters took over before taking Trigg to the hospital. Sadly, he never recovered from injuries received in the accident.

Chandler Police Department representative Sonu Wasu shared a statement with People regarding Trigg’s death.

“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time,” the statement reads. “The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed.”

In March, Kiser and her husband, Brady, welcomed their second son, Theodore. People flocked to her most recent Instagram post to share condolences.

“I cannot imagine the loss you’re feeling, no parent should ever have to feel it. I may not know you personally, but from the videos you shared, it was clear you both loved that little boy so deeply,” a follower wrote. “Thank you for sharing him with us, bless his soul and I hope he rests easy.”

“You’re a good Mom. Brady is a good Dad. Nothing can change that!! WE LOVE YOU KISER FAMILY,” someone else shared.

Many have sent condolences for a family they’ve only admired from afar.

“I have never been more heartbroken for someone I’ve never met – you’re in our thoughts and prayers. stay strong,” one follower wrote.

Following Theodore’s birth, Kiser shared a sweet post featuring big brother Trigg that reads, “My dreams coming true for real. I have so much love for these two.”

Kiser has more than 4 million followers on her social media platforms. She has not publicly addressed her son’s death.
