Ah, Valentine's Day. An occasion to shower the one we love the most with gifts, candy, and beautiful flowers. Well, maybe. Some think Valentine's Day is just a made-up commercial holiday created to make big business big money. No matter your thoughts, the day is here, and many couples are celebrating.
One man, bless his loving soul, was bringing a beautiful Valentine's Day spread to the one who has his heart, and well, it positively couldn't have gone any worse. TikTok user @chemaelgoofy posted a video that has amassed an incredible 28 million views, and it is both hysterically funny and absolutely heartbreaking, all wrapped in one heart-shaped box.
His intentions were so, so good.
Chema Guzman had it all. We mean everything. In the video, he walks into what appears to be an office building with a giant balloon, a pot of beautiful flowers, and a box of chocolates. Seriously, who wouldn't love this?
But, well, can you guess what happened? Terrible, horrible things happened, that's what.
It all started with that darn balloon.
The video opens with Chema opening the door from a parking lot, and the mylar balloon he's holding gets stuck outside the door. He lets out a loud "Ohh," clearly upset.
When he goes to open the door, well … the tulips hit the floor. He lets out another yell, but he doesn't give up. He wants that balloon.
He finally gets the balloon in the door, but now, it's the chocolates. Little hearts are all over the place.
No, no, no.
Now that the chocolates are down, Chema himself is on the floor too. He is wearing sunglasses, so we can't see if there are tears in his eyes, but they're in ours.
Those moans and yells got us. And it's a combo of being so sad and so tickled, and we're just so sorry about the whole thing. We can't imagine what this all felt like in the moment.
So many broken hearts for poor Chema.
The video, which was originally posted just after Valentine's Day 2022 and has now been shared more than 200,000 times, has TikTokers everywhere feeling his pain. We all just want to give him a big hug.

Yes, there were some laughs. It is kinda funny.

We have to believe that Chema took it all in stride because his social media is quite funny. He posted the original video without audio, which got more than a million views, but this one went crazy. Chema, friend, you are indeed one of the good ones. Whoever that gift was intended for is pretty darn lucky. But next time, maybe just call a florist and let them deal with the whole thing.
