The Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, have been making headlines again. Their popular Netflix documentary brought them back in the spotlight, and they’re staying there because of their upcoming resentencing hearing. All this comes three decades after they were convicted of murdering their parents, José and Kitty Menendez. But now, Lyle is in news for another reason: His reported new relationship with a much younger woman.

An insider claims that Lyle is dating a 21-year-old college student from England.
A source told the Daily Mail that Lyle, 56, is quietly dating Milly Bucksey, who he met through a Facebook group that his estranged wife, Rebecca Sneed, keeps updated with new developments in the brothers’ case.
“Lyle adores Milly,” the source said. “And she refers to him as her boyfriend even though he’s married.”
Their romance began in at the start of 2024.
The insider told the Daily Mail that at that point, Lyle even got busted for having a contraband cellphone he used to stay in contact with Milly. And since then, he’s allegedly secretly secured another phone so they can stay in touch.

Milly has even made the trip to the US to visit Lyle in person.
The outlet obtained photos of Lyle and Milly together in the prison on the weekend of September 14. Since Lyle is currently doing time at a facility in San Diego, California, it would have been a long trip for Milly to make from her home in Greater Manchester. The Daily Mail attempted to reach Milly at her home but weren’t able to speak with her.
Lyle's wife, Rebecca, recently announced that they had separated.
On the Facebook page she runs in support of the brothers, Rebecca made it clear that Lyle hadn’t cheated on her.
“Guys! This is NOT a cheating scandal. Lyle and I have been separated for a while now but remain best friends and family,” she wrote. “I continue to run his Facebook pages, with input from him, and I am forever committed to the enduring fight for Lyle and Erik’s freedom, as has been so evident over the years.”
The brothers' resentencing hearing has been delayed.
As CNN reported this week, a California judge has delayed Lyle and Erik’s resentencing hearing to January 30 from its original December 11 date. Now that a new district attorney has been elected and will begin working for Los Angeles County next week, the delay gives him time to get caught up on the case.
