Having a MAGA mom is never easy, especially if you are against literally all of Donald Trump‘s decisions as the president. Who am I kidding, though? It’s also hard if you’re against all of Trump’s decisions as a person.
A TikTok account called MyMagaMom is all about one man’s conversations with his MAGA-supporting mother who seems to make excuses for Trump every chance she gets.
Hey, for many, it’s the MAGA way, after all. In one video where he asks what his MAGA mom thinks about the increase in grocery prices, right on cue, his mom jumps to Trump’s defense.
She seems to have excuses ready in her arsenal due to her seemingly unending and even blind support for Trump. Other adult kids of MAGA parents know what that’s like, though.

According to her, Trump can’t fix the cost of groceries overnight.
In the video, the son asks his mom, who is in the driver’s seat of her car, what she thinks of expensive grocery prices despite Trump being president and the general belief among his supporters that he would lower costs.
She quickly says that groceries have been pricey since the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s like she had that answer locked away just in case someone dared to call out Donny for his lack of promises delivered on lower grocery prices.
“How can you expect a man to fix something?” She asks. I mean, she has a point. But when it comes to MAGA supporters and Trump, you would think they might believe that Trump is above any inadequacies that average men face.
Still, it’s giving ‘mom who does her son’s laundry even though he is a married father of two.’
In other words, it’s an excuse that really isn’t viable.
Other videos on the MyMagaMom account prove that the goal is often to rage bait the MAGA mom into getting furious about Trump being blamed or targeted about something negative.
In most cases, it works. And the videos often reach their targeted audience of other people who see MAGA supporters as people who follow Trump and believe in his word, regardless of any flaws or lies along the way.
“They have every excuse for all his failures,” one user commented on the TikTok. “Living in a fictional world.”
Someone else sarcastically chimed in, “Come on, how’s he supposed to do the one thing he ran his entire campaign on?”
Another user pointed out the MAGA mom’s flaws in reasoning about grocery costs and the pandemic. “Grocery prices have been high since the last time he was president,” they wrote. Typically, though, Trump supporters will have an explanation for that too.
As someone else commented, “That’s what makes Trump different: politicians lie all the time, but his cult will just gloss over it or simply won’t care.”
