Minnesota Mom Accused of Having Sex With 2 Teen Boys After Fighting With Her Husband

Sex crimes are never easy to comprehend. But when children are the victims, the actions are unspeakable — because adults should know better. Even if an older minor is involved, a person younger than 18 often cannot legally give consent, and perpetrators can be charged with statutory rape.

With this in mind, a Minnesota woman has been accused of having sex with two teenage boys in a hotel room following a fight with her husband, the New York Post reported. The story is seriously disturbing.

The mom was on a staycation at a hotel when the crimes allegedly happened.

In January, Allison Leigh Schardin, 38, of Blaine, Minnesota, booked a hotel in Roseville for a staycation with her husband and two sons. A Colorado boys' hockey team reportedly stayed at the same hotel for a tournament. Schardin allegedly spoke with the teenage hockey players while in a hotel hot tub on January 14, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

Later, Schardin reportedly sent a message to one of the teens.

Once the teens returned to their hotel rooms, Schardin sent one of them a message on Snapchat. She explained that she and her husband just had a confrontation and asked if she could come to their room. In the teenagers' room, the 38-year-old inquired about their ages, mentioning they were "young enough to be her kids," according to the Pioneer Press.

She allegedly engaged in sex acts with two 15-year-olds.

Schardin allegedly asked the boys how sexually active they were and engaged in sex acts with two of the teenagers while a third watched. Additionally, she reportedly asked the boys to perform sexual acts on her.

Schardin's contact with the teens didn't stop there.

The boys said they told her to leave because they "felt pressured." But that's not all. Schardin reportedly later appeared at one of the teens' hockey games. She also texted them when they returned to Colorado, according to police, the Post reported.

The mom of two was arrested and is facing charges.

On February 1, Schardin was arrested. She was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to the Post. She reportedly admitted to kissing and engaging in sexual conduct with the teens. She will appear in court on February 12.
