Raven Louise Broniecki, posted a heartbreaking story on GoFundMe, imploring loved ones to donate. Her 2-year-old son, Keith Richard, passed away, and the 29-year-old mother needed help paying for his funeral and final expenses. But just days after she asked for help, something shocking happened. The Hinesville Police Department in Georgia, arrested Bronecki in connection with Keith’s death, on December 8, 2025. It appears her negligence may have led to Keith’s tragic death from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
WJCL reported that police responded to a call in the 600 block of Slade Street on November 22, about a child suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported the toddler to an area hospital, where staff pronounced him dead a short time later. Following Keith’s death, his mother posted a now-deleted GoFundMe asking for help.
“My sweet baby boy my best friend my whole world has recently passed away,” she reportedly wrote. “I am trying to raise the funds for bills. We spent all our funds on funeral and urns and other things for our baby boy and we now are left with a hefty amount of bills and just need some help to get back on our feet. We are very stressed and heart broken. Still have 6 children to raise and we are trying our best.”
Not long after Keith’s death, police began investigating the case. According to People, the Hinesville Police Department arrested Bronecki on December 8, on charges of involuntary manslaughter, cruelty to children, criminal negligence causing excessive mental or physical pain, and reckless conduct. The jail released Bronecki after she posted a $22,300 bond.
Children should never have access to firearms. If you want to be a responsible gun owner, you have to ensure weapons stay out of children’s reach. They must also have a gun lock at all times to prevent an accidental shooting. Two years is such a short life. We cannot imagine how much Keith’s family will miss him and mourn what could have been.
