Being a parent is hard, and strangers online always have opinions on everything, from what you feed your kids to how you dress them, parent them, and, it would appear, even what you name them. Mommy blogger Alexandria, who goes by @alexxroyaa on TikTok, has taken it all in stride by posting hilarious and sarcastic video replies to people’s opinions on the family sharing a name. The TikTok mom has gone viral for disclosing that she and her boyfriend and their three children all share the same middle name.
One of her TikTok videos about the family's middle name posted in February has received more than 10 million views and more than 5,000 comments.

The mom and dad found out they shared the same middle name while they were dating, and he didn’t believe her.
Alexandria wrote in an Instagram post that when she and her kids' father, Deven, first started dating and found out they shared the same middle name, he thought she was lying or making fun of him.
“Deven thought I was messing with him when we first started dating and I told him we had the same middle name. He said, 'are you making fun of me?' because the name is considered a girls name. I said absolutely not & that I wasn’t lying!” she wrote.
It was apparently after this moment that they decided to keep the middle name "Lauren" in the family. “So we said it was meant to be and if we ever had kids we would pass down the middle name to them too ❤️ & that’s exactly what we did, 7 years later, 3 kids in,” Alexandria wrote.
The mom has a sense of humor and seems to enjoy responding to ‘internet trolls.’
Some TikTok users seemed to miss that the family shares the same middle name. One user posted, “So how do you even call them? ‘Their name’ no.1?”
The mom simply responded with a video of her calling each of her children, “Hey 1. Hey 2. Hey 3.” Fortunately, the mom blogger seems to have a great sense of humor and appears unbothered by some of the less-than-kind remarks other TikTokers have made.

Some TikTok users pointed out that her son could be bullied over the name.
One TikTok user commented, “You know his middle name is a girl's name right?”
The mom responded with another video reply. She captioned it, “It’s also mine & his dads middle name, we just passed it on.”
Other users jumped in with support for the mom.
One TikTok user commented, “Any middle name can be a boy or girl's name.”
“There’s no such thing as a 'girls name' you can name your child whatever you want,” another person wrote.
TikTokers seemed divided over the family name sharing.
When Alexandria posted a name reveal video, not all TikTok users were supportive.
One person commented, “A boyfriend? And 3 kids .”
Alexandria replied with, “A mother judging another mother..? .”
Someone else commented, “Wait a guy with the middle name Lauren?”
Others on TikTok, however, were more supportive and shared how giving everyone the same middle name can be a family tradition.
“Almost everyone in my extended family has the same middle name!! It is a common cultural tradition,” one person shared.
“Me and my bf also share the same middle name and plan on doing this. literally so cute,” someone else wrote.
