Losing your child is unfathomable and quite devastating.
Viktorija Mardosiene, a UK-based mom, suffered cardiac arrest and died just hours after her baby died last year.
Mardosiene's 5-month-old son, Kevin Deguitas, wasn't breathing and had gone cold when emergency services arrived at her home. He was pronounced dead after being taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
After her son's death, she committed herself to a mental health ward due to her extreme grief.

When emergency services arrived on the scene, they found Mardosiene was sleeping in a double bed. Now authorities think the mother and son were sleeping together and that Kevin's death was accidental.
"What we are left with is a baby who has died co-sleeping with a parent. There is no specific medical cause of death after a comprehensive autopsy," consulting pediatric pathologist Dr. Roger Malcomson said.
"With the debate of if this was a natural or unnatural death, I don't think there is sufficient evidence to suggest either way," he added.
During Mardosiene's time at the mental health facility, she complained of chest pains.
"She was met by the deputy ward manager and had periods where she was distressed and crying uncontrollably. However, she did engage well with the service. She had an elevated blood pressure," psychiatric specialist Dr. Oluwafemi Popoola explained.
She was given a safe dosage of diazepam, which is a sedative, but she had no other drugs or alcohol in her system according to the toxicology report.
Fourteen hours after the death of her son, Kevin, Mardosiene collapsed suddenly and was declared dead. Dr. Andrew Hitchcock, a pathologist for the coroner, conducted a postmortem examination and said, "On the balance of probability, I cannot identify exactly what the medical cause of death," Hitchcock said.
