‘Party Mom’ Who Allegedly Hosted Sex Parties for Teen Son Had Disturbing Google History

A California mom accused of hosting sex parties for her teenage son and his classmates allegedly searched for inappropriate images of teen girls, according to newly released court documents. Police began investigating Shannon O'Connor in October 2021 after hearing allegations that she hosted parties for teenagers at her home and encouraged them to drink alcohol and to engage in sexual activity.

Court documents reveal the 48-year-old mother's disturbing Google search history on her phone, KRON reported. The mother reportedly wanted information about sex books for teenagers and images of the "prettiest 16-year-old girl," according to the news outlet. The allegations against the mother are mounting and increasingly disturbing.

O'Connor allegedly hosted the parties and was particular about the guest list.

O'Connor allegedly had parties for students from Los Gatos High School in her California home beginning in 2020, according to the New York Post. She reportedly encouraged the teenagers, including her 15-year-old son, to engage in illegal activities such as underage drinking and to engage in sexual activity. Court documents state she was "very opinionated" about who could attend the social gatherings.

"She would reject girls as guests by saying they weren't 'pretty enough' or didn't 'put out,'" the documents state.

The prosecution says O'Connor allowed sexual abuse in her home.

According to Deputy District Attorney Rebekah Wise, O'Connor allegedly knew that teenagers were being sexually assaulted in her home but did nothing to stop it, KRON reported. The DA expects O'Connor's attorneys to argue it was consensual.

"In order to combat this argument, it is necessary to put on evidence of how many times defendant saw children being sexually abused and still continued to encourage the assaults," Wise wrote.

As soon as O'Connor realized police were investigating her, she moved.

Court documents state that O'Connor reportedly fled California and moved to Eagle, Idaho, seemingly hoping to avoid prosecution. She allegedly had suspicious Google searches on her phone regarding potential charges and her arrest.

"'Can I get prosecuted in California if I live in Idaho,' 'How do I know if there is a warrant for my arrest,' 'Supplying alcohol to minors in a private home,' and 'Statute of limitations California'" were all among her searches, according to court documents, KRON reported.

She was arrested in Idaho in October 2021.

KRON reported that when police arrested O'Connor in her Idaho home, there were reportedly 12 minors who had spent the night the evening before. After her arrest, she allegedly called her 15-year-old son and told him not to cooperate with police or give any information to authorities.

O'Connor faces a host of charges.

Her next court date is November 6 in the Santa Clara County Hall of Justice. She faces multiple charges that include endangering the health of a child, sexual battery, annoying or molesting a child, child endangerment, and furnishing alcohol to a person under 21, according to the Post. O'Connor pleaded not guilty to 39 charges, the news outlet reported.

The prosecution is reportedly ready to take the case on and hold the mother responsible for her alleged actions.

"Evidence admitted at preliminary hearing will show offenses alleged above were committed by defendant as a result of sexual compulsion and for the purpose of sexual gratification," Wise said.
