Trisha Graf, a 41-year-old Australian mom, disappeared on December 12, 2025, and her family desperately wants her home. Before her disappearance, Graf spent time at the Roxby Downs Hotel and left with a friend just after midnight. The pair were reportedly traveling to Andamooka when they hit a kangaroo. Graf drove away from the accident with her friend and visited a home, but what happened next remains a mystery. Loved ones found her car hours later, but there was no sign of the mother of two.
According to a news release from South Australian Police, Graf and a friend traveled in a white 2012 Ford Territory the night of her disappearance. After colliding with the kangaroo, they traveled to a residence in northwestern Andamooka. Graf took off around 2 a.m. Witnesses last saw her driving on Dunstan Drive.
Around noon December 12, loved ones went looking for Graf and found her car perched on a dirt mound near the Blue Dam. because of its positioning on the dirt, it was not drivable, the news release noted. The mother’s disappearance made no sense to the family or the police.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said Graf would not leave her kids.
“So it is out of character for her not to be in contact with her children, to not be in contact with her partner, her bank accounts not having been touched,” he said back in January.
After an extensive ground, aerial, and water search, police will now focus on mine shafts in South Australia’s outback, ABC reported.
Graf’s sister, Rachel Anne Newson, shared a message of love for her sister on Facebook. “What I would give just to hear your voice again,To get a message as you always used to say how much you loved n miss me youd send me beautiful sister peoms,We were not long ago talking about me coming to visit you Sis and my beautiful neice and nephew who I never got to meet you were all so excited,” she wrote.
“I was over the moon you had so much you wonted to talk to me about,What I’d give just to hold you in my arm’s again Sis,Now I’ve had that special moment taken away from me,Why I’m so heart broken chicky I’ll never give up on you ever I love you now n forever,” Newson added in her post.
What a horrible situation. Hopefully, they will find Graf alive and finally unravel the mystery of her disappearance.
