Man Allegedly Killed Pregnant Teen Who Confronted Him After He Had Sex With Her Underage Sister

A pregnant California teen was trying to defend her sister and wound up dead. Kaylie Corona, 16, reportedly confronted Isaac Blackhorse Garcia, 19, on February 2, 2025. She believed he was having a sexual relationship with her 15-year-old sister. When Corona approached Blackhorse Garcia’s car, he allegedly hit her with the vehicle, killing her. Miraculously, her baby survived and remains in critical condition.

According to a release the Riverside Police Department posted on Facebook, the fatal hit-and-run accident occurred around 11:45 p.m. Police arrived after receiving a report of a pregnant female being hit by a driver who left the scene. Corona received serious injuries and died at a hospital a short time later. Doctors delivered her baby, Elena Kaylie De Luna Corona, and her father, David De Luna, has promised to care for her.

During the investigation, police determined that Blackhorse Garcia allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with Corona’s sister, according to the news release. They also believe she may not have been his only minor victim. They arrested him a short time later and booked him in the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of murder, hit-and-run resulting in death, and unlawful sex with a minor. He was being held without bail.

“Detectives believe there may be other minors whom Isaac Blackhorse Garcia contacted and sexually abused,” the release on Facebook noted. “Anyone with information about this murder investigation, or who may have been victimized by the suspect, is urged to contact Detective Stanley Hua at (951) 353-7135 or [email protected], or Detective Nic Cantino at (951) 353-7104 or [email protected].”

Kaylie Corona’s family created a GoFundMe account to help support baby Elena.

“We are deeply heartbroken to share the devastating loss of our precious baby girl. At just 16 years old, she had a bright future filled with promise and excitement,” Rosarie Corona wrote on the page. “She was eagerly looking forward to becoming a mother and meeting her baby. Tragically, on the night of February 2, her life was taken from us in an instant, leaving our family and friends utterly devastated.”

The mother added, “Our girl was more than just a teenager – she was a radiant light in our lives. She was a caring, loving, and joyful soul whose presence touched everyone she met. She had so many dreams, so many moments ahead of her, and in the blink of an eye, all of that was stolen. The grief we feel is indescribable, and the void she leaves behind is immeasurable.”

In a separate GoFundMe account, David’s mother, Eileen Sanchez shared, “the Corona family lost their beautiful daughter Kaylie, she was such a sweet loving daughter, sister, friend to many and most importantly a soon to be mother no words can express the sadness that has filled many of us during this time. Our deepest condolences go to her family.

“From the moment she found out she was pregnant she devoted her love to her baby. Our son David was of course worried but ready to step up and be there for Kaylie and their baby girl. The love and respect they had for each other was admirable,” her post continued. “So with the tragedy of loosing Kaylie, who was just two weeks away from giving birth, Elena Kaylie De Luna Corona was born and in critical condition. She is currently fighting for her life.”

Collectively, the fundraisers have brought in more than $12,000 thus far.
