You might think you can spot a MAGA supporter from a mile away, but just because they might be wearing camouflage outside of hunting season or using racial slurs a little too freely, there are, apparently, other “tells.” A comedian on TikTok, Lisandra Vazquez, shared a video where she goes back and forth with her sister about “questions to determine MAGA status.”
From simple questions that goad a person into admitting where they stand on abortion rights to how “scary” an individual might find an accent from outside of the United States, Lisandra hits it on the head with each line. But the best part might be that, in the comment section under the TikTok, users came up with their own. I can promise you, once you get started coming up with your own, provided that you aren’t MAGA yourself, you might not be able to stop.
There is no end to the questions you can ask to weed out MAGA enthusiasts.

In case you forgot, MAGA stands for ‘Make America Great Again.’ It was Donald Trump’s campaign slogan more than once, and it continues to be a mantra for those who support him and his Administration. People who do not support Trump’s ideas and plans for the U.S. often refer to his supporters as simply ‘MAGA.’ There are a few other choice words, but we don’t have to get into that here.
In the TikTok, according to Lisandra and her sister, you can figure out who is MAGA by asking them no shortage of questions. One of them is, “How many genres are there?” Another is, “Do you apply makeup with your fingers or with a beauty blender?” Others include questions about whether or not people prefer Teslas or other electric cars, and if their cowboy aesthetic is more “Cowboy Carter” or KidRock.
The questions either refer to something political that Trump has said, or stereotypes that people outside of MAGA have attributed to those who support Trump. Either way, anti-MAGA enthusiasts sounded off in the comment section to share their own questions to ask to figure out if someone is MAGA or not.
“So you like parks and museums or Target?” One user commented. This is, of course, in reference to the budget cuts on national parks and Target’s DEI stance.
Someone else joked, “What shape is the Earth?”
Per someone else in the comments, the most logical question is a simple one. They wrote, “Just ask them if they believe in equality.”
Another user commented, “Casually bring up Beyoncé and “Cowboy Carter.” I know where they are on the political spectrum, where they are on the racism spectrum and how they feel about women.”
Other jokes about MAGA questions involved knowing right away, just by looking at someone, if they support Trump and his beliefs. Some users also commented that you can tell by the way they refer to Trump by name or with ‘president’ in front of his name at all times.
They might also say, with utmost certainty, that Trump is going to get a third term in the White House. Though to be fair, that line from MAGA supporters is an easy way to spot them.
