If there’s one thing about staunch supporters of one particular political leader, it’s that they will defend them as much as humanly possible. And, for some, it goes well beyond that. So when one man shared a TikTok of his “Republican mom” denying that Donald Trump fell while climbing the steps of Air Force One, it caused quite a stir in the comment section.
In case you need a refresher, there is plenty of footage that shows Trump stumbling on the steps that lead to the interior cabin of the official presidential plane. On June 8, 2025, as Trump began to ascend the steps in Morristown, New Jersey, per USA Today, he stumbled on some of the steps.
Did he outright fall down or fall down the steps to the ground? No, he didn’t. But clips of the incident made the rounds on social media, and they are hard to argue with. Well, for some people, anyway.

The Trump-supporting mom insists he didn’t fall when climbing the Air Force One steps.
In the TikTok video, the man, whose account is dedicated to videos of his “MAGA mom,” asks her what she thinks about Trump falling. She immediately says, “He did not fall.” When the son argues with her, the mom doubles down and even claims that the fall “is not on the news.”
As literally everyone on the internet now knows, there are plenty of news clips about Trump falling, despite what the MAGA mom says. In the caption, the man wrote, “Soooo did Fox not report it or??” People commented to share that they have similarly-minded parents, and they even gave the TikTok creator a few tips on how to convince his mom of what the truth is.
“Tell her Biden fell and show her Trump falling video,” one TikToker commented.
Someone else wrote, “Time to put parental controls on Fox News so mom can watch something else.”
Others were quick to point out how they view the TikTok user’s mom and other Trump supporters.
“Literally like arguing with a toddler,” one person commented, while someone else wrote that the mom is “actually brainwashed.”
Other commenters truly couldn’t believe that the mom would be so quick to deny something everyone can plainly see. To some, it is indicative of the way other Republicans think, especially when it comes to Trump.

The TikTok user has other videos of his MAGA mom.
Because the TikToker’s account is called MAGA Mom, it makes sense for his other videos to be similar in nature. In one, he “rage baits” his mom with facts about Trump. The facts, which include claims about Trump’s alleged past crimes, are all meant to upset the user’s mom, and it works. In another video, he asks his mom’s opinion about tariffs that were imposed on China. As to be expected, the user’s mom agrees with the tariffs and, essentially, any decision Trump makes as the president.
For some TikTokers, the videos themselves are rage bait for them rather than the TikTok creator’s mom. Those who do not support Trump have shared their frustration in the comment section of each video, and for many, the question is just how far the MAGA mom will go to support Trump’s decisions on every level.
