Teen Allegedly Beat 3-Month-Old Puppy While Livestreaming & Ended Up Getting Arrested

Millions of people share their lives on social media every day. They turn their platforms into income streams, and many make their living by posting online. Livestreaming can be very lucrative and allows followers what feels like an intimate look into the influencer’s day-to-day life. Because they post in real time, without delay, the camera captures both the good and the bad. Aspen Easterling, a 19-year-old living in Georgia, learned a hard lesson after her followers disliked how she treated her dog, and they called the police. Easterling, who posts as Aspen Kartier on social media, is now facing a huge public backlash and animal cruelty charges.

The Brookdale Police Department reported receiving “numerous complaints” regarding Easterling’s social media post on January 30, 2026. Callers expressed deep concern about how she allegedly treated her 3-month-old Maltipoo puppy while streaming on Twitch. The video began circulating on platforms such as TikTok. We can’t lie; it’s truly disturbing. Easterling appears to beat the tiny puppy as it cries and wails. The apparent abuse occurs out of the camera’s view, but the puppy’s sounds are loud and clear.

The video made people sick to watch. “What’s the point of getting a puppy if you’re just gonna harm it,” someone commented.

The audio made one person’s dogs go crazy. “The sounds of the puppy crying had my dogs upset and ready to fight!! They looking in me like we doing it up in here!! I’m like nah dog that’s not me,” the person commented.

“imagine what she does if the dog poops on the floor,” another person shared.

Brookhaven police took the calls seriously and began an investigation. Callers provided an address, and investigators matched it to Easterling, according to the police news release. They obtained and executed a warrant at 9:35 p.m. on January 30. They took Easterling into custody without incident.

Thankfully, police found the puppy uninjured. DeKalb County Animal Control took custody of the dog shortly thereafter, police shared in the release.

WBRC reported that Twitch banned Easterling from the platform. She faces a charge of animal cruelty.

Hurting an innocent animal is as bad as hurting an innocent child. There’s nothing this puppy could have done to deserve this kind of treatment. Someone suggested Easterling get the same treatment her dog got. We imagine she’d be wailing just as loudly.
