As moms, it’s extremely important that we teach our kids the difference between right and wrong. Sometimes, that means they may not always like our rules and decisions, but if it keeps them safe and out of trouble, so be it. Of course, not everyone runs their homes the same way, and some moms are a bit more permissive. Then there are the moms whose irresponsibility puts themselves and their kids in danger. Kristina Lynn Tso found herself in jail after a party at her home got totally out of control and kids allegedly wound up drunk. Now this “cool” mom is facing charges.
A Utah father contacted the Tooele City Police Department on February 28, 2026, after picking up his daughter from a birthday party at Tso’s home, according to court documents obtained by ABC 4. The unnamed father said his 13-year-old daughter smelled like alcohol and appeared impaired. He expressed concern for other children at Tso’s home and wanted officers to investigate.
Police obtained a warrant and went to the home where Tso answered the door but was allegedly “very uncooperative.” Officers reportedly put her in handcuffs and served the search warrant on the property. Inside, police found between 15 and 20 minors and tested each for alcohol. Most were around the age of 13, and six tested positive. But that’s not the most disturbing part.
While inside the home, police found an 11-year-old boy passed out with a bottle of liquor at his side. Emergency crews rushed to check on the child. His condition remains unclear.
According to police, witnesses said Tso not only provided them alcohol but also allegedly “encouraged them all to drink.” Police arrested her and took her to Toole County Jail, where she’s being held without bail. She faces one charge of aggravated child abuse and six counts of knowingly furnishing alcohol to a minor.
We can’t imagine what this woman was thinking. Who in their right mind provides alcohol to kids? She’s right where she belongs.
