We are just days away from Election Day, and things are heating up. Impassioned political enthusiasts are spreading the word about the candidate they support, hoping to sway others to vote their way. Politics is particularly divisive, but it is hoped that people will remain civil when talking about the presidency. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case, and a recent rally for presidential candidate Kamala Harris seems to have taken a scary turn.
A viral video on X allegedly shows a woman at a Harris rally screaming at a young child in a stroller. The woman gets very close to the little girl’s face before someone comes between them to help. What prompted the altercation is unclear, but we can all agree that a grown adult screaming at a child is never the right answer.

The incident occurred ahead of Harris' rally in Houston.
According to KUTV, the rally took place on October 25 at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston. Celebrities such as Willie Nelson and Beyoncé attended the rally, which drew a big crowd. At some point during the evening, an unknown woman apparently approached a child in a stroller near the Houston Metro Station near the stadium. In a now-viral video, the woman appeared to push through the crowd to get to the child and then began yelling.
The little girl looked very young.
At the time of the altercation, the child was sitting in a stroller while her father stood behind her. The woman, clad in a blue T-shirt, yelled something unintelligible to the child. Her father shielded her before another person in the crowd, holding a Harris-Walz sign, moved the woman away, seemingly telling her not to yell at the child. The father picked up the child and clapped back at the enraged woman.
It's unclear why the child was there.
The father appeared to be talking to the crowd in the video with a microphone. It’s not clear what he was saying, but it seemed to upset people. Before the woman in the blue T-shirt approached, the man seemed to be having a lively conversation with others in the crowd. It’s unknown, but some have speculated that could have led to the verbal altercation.
Unsurprisingly, multiple users on X posted the video, soliciting millions of views. One user, who posts as @ohsosuper, shared the video with the caption that reads, in part, “The video has sparked debates online about conduct at political events and the appropriateness of bringing children to rallies.”

The video went viral.
One person thought the dad should have fought back and wrote, “Should have whooped her a–. You don’t yell at a child like that for nothing.”
“Wow. There’s so much wrong there. The insanity of the woman yelling at the defenseless, innocent child,” another person commented. “The screech type laughter in the background that I can only hope wasn’t encouraging of the inappropriate behavior. Thank God for the lady who intervened.”
Someone who claimed to have witnessed the altercation wrote, “I was there. The dad was there with his portable mic yelling at people exiting the rally that they need to repent. He was there to agitate. Why would anyone bring their child intentionally agitate thousands of people?”
