What to Know
Anyone who is anti-MAGA has been in a situation where they heard something or witnessed something a creator did to let them know that the influencer is actually totally MAGA…even if they didn’t actually say it out loud. And one woman on TikTok says in a video that most MAGA content creators have one specific thing that gives them away.
Any creator could suddenly pop up in a video with a MAGA or MAHA hate on, thereby alerting their fans and followers about what their political beliefs are. Or, showing up at a Mar-a-Lago or White House event will also do it. Even those are pretty obvious ways to tell if your favorite influencer is MAGA, according to this woman on TikTok, it doesn’t have to be so blatant and in-your-face to be obvious.
MAGA content creators don’t have to say they’re MAGA for people to know.

In her video, the TikTok user says that all an influencer has to do, or, really, not do, to let you know their political affiliation, is a response to a simple question. Yes, that’s it, and it really does make sense.
“If you ask a content creator if they’re MAGA, and the answer is not no, they’re MAGA,” she explains. “It’s really that simple. It’s not a mystery. It’s not that confusing. There are no Easter eggs to this. This is an open book test.”
That’s it. So, if your favorite influencer is asked about if they are MAGA or they make a video to address the possibility they are, there is no “Well, I understand both sides” or “There is just a lot that goes into it.” If their answer is anything but “No,” then, according to this TikTok, they are very likely a Trump-supporting MAGA influencer.
Is that totally accurate and fair for every content creator out there? Maybe not, but other users commented on the TikTok to agree that they’ve had similar situations occur with their own favorite content creators “coming out” as MAGA without even meaning to.
“Cause if someone accused me of being MAGA, I’d be so quick to clear it up and say absolutely not,” someone commented on the TikTok. Another agreed, “Refusing to answer, is the answer.”
“It also drives me crazy when creators say they don’t owe us an explanation,” a user wrote in the comments. “Our views are your INCOME. We want to choose where we distribute those views wisely. Of course you owe us that information! Your whole job is distributing information!”
There are other of MAGA influencer ‘tells’ that people shared.

Other users commented on the TikTok to say how they figure out if a content creator is MAGA. Some even commented that they believe Taylor Swift is MAGA because she hasn’t explicitly said she is not. I mean, T-Swift isn’t a content creator, but apparently some people see her as MAGA or, at the very least, MAGA-adjacent.
Someone added to the ways to tell if a creator is MAGA, “‘I’m not political’ means ‘I’m a Republican but I don’t want people to know.'” Someone else wrote, “‘I don’t talk about political views.’ SIDE EYE.”
“When people say, ‘Both sides are bad.’ I say, ‘Well yes, but that wasn’t the question,” another person commented.
It’s still surprising when a favorite celebrity or creator is revealed to be MAGA.

While some users shared how they can spot a secret MAGA influencer in the comments, others dropped names of influencers they believe are MAGA. As a result, some users were a bit heartbroken to learn some of their faves don’t share the same political or social views as them.
One of them commented, “This comment section is how I found out by Serena Neal and my heart is shattered. You really never know who people are offline.”
