A new woman has come forward also alleging that she was having an affair with Chris Watts, the Colorado man accused of murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters, shortly before the killings. Because the case gained national attention, news broke that Watts was allegedly sleeping with a coworker and then an anonymous man spoke out claiming he and Watts had been in a 10-month relationship. Now, another woman is claiming that she was also sexually involved with Watts in the weeks leading up to Shanann, Bella, and Celeste's slayings, and the details of their alleged relationship that she's revealed are chilling.
The unnamed woman gave a candid interview to Radar Online about her six-week affair with Watts.
The woman, whose identity wasn't revealed, claims to be Watts' former lover and told Radar Online that she met him on the dating app Tinder. They then allegedly began a sexual relationship that lasted from May to June 2018.
âHe would put his hands on my throat during intercourse. Now that I know who he is, it gives me the chills," she said. "I canât even think about it.â
The woman, who Radar Online only identifies as a brunette stylist in her 30s "who bears an uncanny resemblance to Wattsâ late wife, Shanann" said that she quickly realized that Watts seemed to be sneaking around. However, that's not the part of their relationship that upset her because she wasn't looking for a "serious relationship."
Instead, it was how Watts would treat her in bed that was the cause of serious red flags.
âHe seemed normal at first. He didnât strike me as violent or strange,â she said. âBut nothing about him alarmed me until he tried to choke me. That freaked me out."
"He had a rape fantasy. He was very kinky,â she said.
According to the woman, she lived 30 miles from Watts' family home and saw him two to three times a week for pizza or Chick-fil-A dates and sex. âWhen we had sex, it was very animalistic. He just zoned out into a different person," she said. "He wasnât the kind of guy who would cuddle and watch a movie.â
However, after six weeks the mistress says she broke up with Watts because she felt like he was just using her for sex.
It wasn't until after he was arrested on August 15 that this mistress said she realized just how much Watts had been lying to her. According to her, Watts had used a different man's photo on his dating app profile, which she knew as soon as they met but believed throughout their relationship that he was separated from his wife and didn't have any children. Â
As Watts awaits his next court appearance in November, he is under suicide watch at Colorado's Weld County Jail and kept isolated for 23 hours a day.
